The owners, Fatima and Antonio, are beyond nice!
They didn't let us starve when we arrived late after a massive event where finding food was a true challenge. We want to come back soon.

Difficult to review given that we stayed during a pandemic so it was very quiet and a lot of restaurants and bars were closed. The beaches in this area are fabulous but will be much busier under normal circumstances. Zahora is in some ways a little nicer that the likes of El Palmar, prettier buildings, very narrow roads which can only imagine might be a bit of a nightmare if the place was very busy.

Zahora is my personal favourite location in this beautiful area. It is a place to unwind and relax. Sandy little streets wind through to the beach and the area is full of lovely villas, and cute houses and bungalows to rent. Great restaurants around near Camping Caños de Meca, and many more hidden in the winding back roads. The beach at Zahora is a beautiful cove of golden sand and very safe for swimming when the tide is low it creates a huge shallow pool. There are a few lovely restaurants which have live music from about 7 pm so you can come straight from the beach and enjoy a few hours of great music and a cold drink, they finish just in time for nature to make its stunning sunsets. Afterwards you can eat a delicious meal and enjoy the small craft market. If you carry on to the right of the bay ( you can only do this on foot) there is the most stunning deserted beach stretching ahead of you...it does have rocks going into the sea, but good for snorkelling, and at low tide there are many rock pools to lay in the warm bath temperature water. I could stay forever!

If you are looking for a place to relax and de-stress, Zahora is the place to be (at least outside of the season). In October most of the restaurants and bars still are open. In November it is already more difficult to find a place to have a drink or meal.
The beach is perfect and to the north - towards El Palmar - you do not even have to bother about putting on clothes/bathing suits.

Was a short stop for us between Arcos and Seville & a beach experience. Would be great for families with young children for a longer stay. Zahora beach is nothing special but Campo de Meca although a drive is lovely.

Amazing beaches, a bit wild, different from the places we went before. Older kids enjoyed surfing. Lots of surf shops with equipment rental. Prices are reasonable as it is camping area. A bit rough but charming. Nice restaurants. Plenty of parking for 3 euros a day. Interesting landmark of Cape Trafalgar.
Perfect for two or small family, super clean and very nice host! It has everything you can ask for - a beautiful porch, well-equipped kitchen, spacious and clean bathroom and a comfy bed in the separate bedroom. You also have access to a nice little pool, again, all very clean and well taken care of… the location is quite good, 15min by foot to the beach and restaurants but also quickly with the car out of the town to get to El Palmar, Vejer or Breña. All in all, very good! Thx Javi for having us!!!
Spaceous, nice design, clean, nice outside area. Kitchen was ok. We were there outside season so the area was very quiet. Staff seemed to not be on the premises except for when guests were checking in. Contact info was given though. Some might not enjoy that staff are not around. For us this did not matter. Beach is close and it's magnificent.
superb location, nice rooms with comfortable beds, clean and well presented. Fridge in the room a nice touch. Little outdoor terrace delightful. Supper in the restaurant was very good, thoroughly enjoyed it and waiting staff excellent. Extremely helpful hotel staff. Really enjoyed our stay.
It is a really nice hotel with a great roof top terrace, within a 15min walk to the beach. In front of the hotel is a nice little restaurant for breakfast and dinner, which kind of the best service I experienced so far in Spain ;)
