The nice thing about Estartit is there’s a mixture of package week, apartment stayers, people on campsites both long (season) and short stayers, camper wagons , apartment owners, divers, boaters and locals. Adjacent to a marine park and with the Roca Maura dominating the skyline it’s feasible to eat breakfast at the harbour, hike to a nearby callela, snorkel, back for cool drinks in the Santa Anna, take a sailing lesson, eat dinner and pop out for a bit of evening in one day.

A beautiful coastal town. Long sandy beach.
A beautiful coastal town. Long sandy beach. Clean safe promenade all the way along. Exceptionally clean and tidy with lots of bins and toilet facilities. Great choice of restaurants and bars but not dance bars or clubs. Very family orientated, easy to navigate and small enough to stay without a car. Poor public transport options though so you need car if you want to go visiting the water park or L'Escala or other attractions.

It tends to be very busy in peak season, though while we were there in mid June it was reasonably quiet. Good selection of bars/restaurants to choose from, from good local 'neighbourhood' type ones to lots of more tourist oriented ones. Very convenient location for visiting the surrounding area - golf courses in Emporda and Pals are superb, the village of Peratallada has to be visited. Would highly recommend the restaurant 'El Pati' there - beautiful garden setting and great local food. Camelot restauarnt in Toroella de Montgri is also a must visit for great local Spanish cuisine, reasonably priced.

There is a nice quiet beach in the nature reserve at Le Ter, near Toroella. We like Kim's bar for tapas. We recommend Les Corones for a tip top meal. L'Estartit is easy to get around and in September, it is not too crowdedl

L'Estartit is really nice place to spend your holidays.
L'Estartit is really nice place to spend your holidays. Apart from beautiful beaches and views your have a lots of restaurants, cafes and shops all over the place. Not far from Barcelona, Girona airports and small towns like Roses and L'Escala. At the end off September it's not overcrowded and you still have +24 , +26 and warm water as well. This is my second time in September and defiantly not the last.
Wonderful place to stay. Nice building with nice views and surroundings. Staff was kind and helpful. A great thank you for allowing us to have breakfast half a hour earlier than their usual starting time. Breakfast was super, especially the home made pastries. Location was good for our plan to visit Costa Brava and do some snorkeling in Illes Medes. Next time it would be great to hire a MTB and come in summertime to be able to enjoy the pool.
Perfecto for this price. Big advantage was pool and location. Lidl, supermercat and pastisseria withing walking distance as same like beach&sea. Fully furnished kitchen for preparing own meals, especially early morning breakfasts. Game room with spanish tablefootball and billiard. In high season must be very noisy and overcrowded by kids. It is more family friendly hotel. Definitely not for couples who need calm and privacy.
The hotel has undergone a big refurbishment. The breakfast was excellent and a good choice The room was brand new and very clean and comfortable.
New terraces and dining room.
The location is very central and the staff very excellent especially gema and David
We had to wait a bit since we arrived early, but we got the room before the official time so it was nice. The main reception was a little bit hard to find since they had many buildings with the same hotel name and logo. The apartment was great.
The location was perfect. The hotel was clean and functional. The staff were welcoming. The facilities, room and breakfast matched my expectations with respect to the price. Very satisfied with everything except the shower.
Well appointed apartments with a pool area loads of sun beds and umbrellas. Helpful, welcoming and amenable reception. Nice to have what you need to make and enjoy an evening meal and balcony as the sun goes down.
Nice location, close to the beach and diving bases. Room was spacious, nice balcony. Breakfast included. You can have menu dinner for correct price at the hotel where you choose from three different dishes.
Booking a room with a balcony facing the marina was a must, although I guess it would get quite noisy in holiday season. The restaurant downstairs is part of the hotel and all is family run.
Super hotel, very clean, amazing staff and a lovely family owning the hotel. So much nicer than a faceless group hotel, a week here has made me never want to leave.
Location is perfect.
