I got a last minute deal for €53 for one night and the price was good value for what I found. The rooms were dated, but clean. The location was good, which made it good value for money and the staff were helpful.
The apartment has all the basics you’d need (hob, fridge, etc..)

Its good resort to visit if you are living in the south of Spain as its just a drive away however its not recommended to fly into it from overseas as its pricy most apartment based accommodation are run down and also pricy and resort facilities in terms of getting passes etc is badly organized and not foreign speaking friendly at all! There is also not much to do there for small kids as they restricting accesses with sledges etc to majority of the areas and only allocating small 'Play park' zone for families

When we visted during Christmas week, it had not snowed yet other than ONE time this season... so we didn´t have many slopes open. But, the 10 or 15 that were open, were enough -- mostly green, blue and a red or two. I think there are some 50, most of them were closed because there wasn´t enough snow.
Christmas week was perfect as far as crowds go. We left the 28th, and the New Year people were arriving. If we go again, I would NEVER, EVER go New Years weekend. It was MOBBED! WAY too many people. Felt like I was part of a seal colony - could not ski without hitting someone, lines were too crowded --- just packed.
Eating out in Sierra Nevada is just too expensive for the quality. We at out a few times, but ended up cooking in most of the time. (family of 5 adults)

Quite well facilitated for all levels of skiers.
Quite well facilitated for all levels of skiers. Friendly, convenient, our ski school was just great. Granada trips only 45 minutes away. Good roads to get to. Different types of cafes right by the slopes.

Position of the hotel and the ski lockers
Position of the hotel and the ski lockers
Ski locker door difficult to open so often propped open The resort is well served with lifts and good variety of runs
The village is vehicle free and easy to get around Some good places to eat and drink.
The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The view is spectacular and António was very friendly and welcoming!
It’s a bit of work to get to the main village/ski lifts. You can walk 5-10 minutes to a “ski lift” that takes you to the village (although this is only between 8:30am and 5:30pm), you can take a small shuttle bus that we rarely saw or you can drive 5 minutes. That being said, the same goes for any hotel/apartment at the top of the village.
The host was flexible with the time of checkin. The keys were in a lockbox. The apartment was nice and warm and the decoration was nice. Bathroom with a good shower and extractor. The towels were a good size and nice and thick. The beds overall were good. Wifi and TV all worked well. The location is good for walking to the main ski-lifts (5-10 min) and if you like the Sierra Nevada nightlife, being very close to the main disco/bar.
The room for 3 was good! Spacious and clean. The shower was great! The hostal is near the chairs we can use to go to the square that has the access to the ski station. We used this chairs to go up and down with our equipment and also with our luggage. The chairs closes at 17h30 so sometimes we needed to go walking to the square to enjoy the nightlife, it’s a 10 min walk that you can use the stairs.
The location of the hotel is great. Right in the town centre with fantastic views down over the valley
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and again, with great views
The room was clean and very warm, which was great because it was very cold outside!
The Moose bar is great to unwind and eat and drink after a long day out skiing!
Will definitely stay here again!
Great hotel in such a fabulous location for everything. Really friendly, lovely staff, especially Angie/Antje the main receptionist, who recommended the best ski hire and places to eat.
Bars below offering a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. The hotel is on the main level with the town and all facilities. 5 minutes walk to the main gondola stations.
Javier the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. He helped with luggage from the car up to the flat and also helped when we left the apartment.
Apartment is in a great location, close to ski lifts and bars and restaurants.
It is very comfortable and was incredibly clean. A great place to stay and would definitely recommend.
One of the best deals in Booking.com for southern Spain. The space was great, it was centrally located, and in a village that is beyond stunning. The price is, by far, the best part. It was, honestly, a steal considering the size of the apartment and how easily getting to Church, to stores, to restaurants is amazing.
great location right in the middle of town and they were able to park our car in the garage as it’s very busy in this resort. it also felt like a lovely traditional ski chalet hotel. my daughter really liked the mezzanine level in our room so we could be together but still have some own space. lovely view!!
The host was brilliant in every regard. The flat was spacious and cozy, with a fireplace. We had a beautiful view of the Sierra Nevada village & slopes. Thankfully we had an indoors garage - I would have hated cleaning snow and ice from the car. All in all a perfect 1st experience skiing.
We liked the restaurant which had a varied selection of food. The ski lockers by the exit which made it easy to get ready and hit the slopes without having to struggle with kit through the hotel. The car park right next to the lockers made it easy to load and unload for the trip.
A welcoming and comfortable hotel. Very convenient for the ski resort; being only a short drive away. Staff were friendly and made us feel most welcome. We’d highly recommend Hotel Sulayr and it’d be the first place we’d look at returning to for our next trip.
Good breakfast and the gourmet dinner was very tasty. Room was clean as expected. The location of the hotel was conveninent and there was access to a chair lift that enabled one to get to the main, cabin lift heading out to Sierra Nevada ski slopes.
I loved the view from our room and the outdoors patio. i also really enjoyed the Gondola that takes you down to the village! I had a massage and it was fantastic! The spa was also delightful after a day of skiing.
The host let us in before check in time, which was a pleasure. Location was good with a shop downstairs, bus station in front of the house and ski lift at 200m. There was an elevator in the building.
It is a pretty hotel in agood location. The staff was very nice and the facilities are kept in good repair. The buffet is enormous. The rooms were comfortable and the linens were high quality.
Located next to chair lift that made it easy to reach main square. Pool (inc. Jacuzzi) was fantastic after skiing day. Having a car park is great as parking in Sierra Nevada can be difficult.
