You can walk to the north and south of the port along flat walkways where you will find quiet areas with nice beaches. You will find the major supermarkets plus a central bus station with links to Alicante, Elche and south to Torrevieja.

Santa Pola is a working town but still is a great place for a vacation there are 2 great beaches and loads of restaurants and cafes. great supermarkets and bakeries. You can do water sports in summer and there are great walks and cycling options.

All facilities were on the doorstep! Don’t forget to have a nice cold drink in one of the tiny bars that are down all the little side streets ! Wide choice of restaurants and music and entertainment and a lovely walk along the Marina promenade people watching to be off a chilled day in Santa Pola ( a very underrated town in our opinion! ) 🏖☀️MandyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We have visted the town many times, we like it because it is a "working town" not full of tourists. There a plenty of excellent restaurants and shops and the beaches are very well maintained. Favourite restaurant was Cata Simo and we enjoyed many "meals of the day" there. It is easy to get around the town by walking. Do not miss the fruit and veg market on a Saturday, or the general goods market on a Monday morning.

We have visited Santa Pola often over the years but never overnight. We love the fact that it is a very Spanish town with plenty of Restaurants for every pocket. The beaches are fantastic and safe. Taxis are easily available and reasonably priced. Very flat walking all over town with a historic Fort in the square with Cafés all around the edges. The town also boasts a local indoor market with local fresh goods for sale. A truely lovely Spanish town.

The hostess is very nice and explained everything we needed to know to us. There was a new air-conditioning and television installed. More then enough kitchen tools and utilities if you like to cook. Everything very clean and very decent beds. Hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel, all there. Close to Santa Pola centre and a lot of small restaurants/bars just around the corner. If you look for a good spot to stay with an amazing view, I wouldn't look further!

Balcony was wide and peaceful views of fields. Bathroom equally spacious and modern, gigantic shower. Despite being by a main road, we weren’t disturbed by noise at all. The pool on the roof was beautiful; sadly we didn’t have time to use it but would’ve liked to. The breakfast was excellent, such a variety offered. Own bath rooms in bed rooms make things easy and kitchen was well equipped. Tennis court behind the building was nice plus. Distance to Santa Polas services isnt too long and walk there was easy enough. The nicest host who made us feel welcome and our youngest one got her own high chair and baby bed which was so nice from them.

The two bedrooms were also good. I liked that there was air conditioning to help cool the apartment and a washing machine for the clothes. There was even a clothes drying rack. We liked that they provided a chair for the beach. But best of all was there was a refrigerator and stove so we could prepare our own food.NicoleFamily with young children

Santa Pola is a lively small town with plenty of interesting features and it's public transport links to Alicante and Cartagena are also excellent. We did not need to use a car fir the 3 weeks we were away and we were able to travel along the coast without any problem at all.
