Nothing as the pictures did not represent the hotel in reality. We paid a very high rate to be surprised a receive rooms with 3 beds instead of a double bed. The Air conditions were not working, the toilets got blocked and not even the basic amenities were provided despite paying extremely high rates! We complained on various occasions and were told that they were fully booked and than we were avoided by the staff! A disgrace to hospitality….and to even call it a hotel!

Fantastic historical city but coach loads of people arrive every day and the bars and food around the cathedral area are accordingly expensive regular vodka and coke €9.00! 200ml red wine €6.00
Walk a few minuets and the prices become more acceptable
Easy to do 10,000 steps a day quite level walking
Plenty of places to visit, 3 nights i think is enough

A bustling place with plenty to do and see.
A bustling place with plenty to do and see. Visit everything and take every opportunity to go everywhere - most sights are within walking distance although the number of tourists can make this a slow process in certain areas and at certain times of day! Most things are very reasonably priced so you won't regret it.

It was pouring with rain most of the time but our overall impression of Cordoba was very positive. It was bustling without being frenetic, the people were warm and friendly and the Mezquita was quite amazing. We wish we’d had more time and would very much like to go back.

Delightful town with pedestrianised centre and charming streets. Quite touristy around the main attraction - the mosque/cathedral (Mezquita) but that's understandable as it's a stunning and unique building. The Roman bridge across the river is attractive too and worth walking across for the view of the town. We were less impressed by the bus trip to the Medina Azahara - a ruined Arab city 7km out of town - fairly dull compared to the Mezquita and the vigilant guards prevented us from sititng down anywhere onsite, so we were unable to eat the picnic we'd brought! However, don't miss the huge and beautiful Alcazar gardens near the Mezquita - a much more relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

A fantastically rich historic town with so much to remind...
A fantastically rich historic town with so much to remind you of the cultural integration of muslim, jewish and christian communities. But there is also a living town too with great food music, and art in the contemporary art centre. Only problem is at the weekend it is overrun with Spanish stag and hen parties, so it can get VERY LOUD and quite overwhelming.
The 5/5 stars on google and the 9.9/10 ratings on booking.com are definitely well deserved! We liked the unique interior design a lot. The entrance was welcoming and cutely organised. The receptionist took her time to sit down with us and introduce to us the attractions, food choices and secret tip of Córdoba. Our car was taken care of by the staff, which was all in all very helpful. We felt like at home and the familiar staff members fulfilled all our wishes and more. We‘ll definitely visit Cordoba and Hotel Suite Generis again!
Spotless clean rooms, swimming pool was quiet and enjoyable, staff very friendly and helpful. Less than 5 euros in taxi to Mesquita which is free between 08:30-09:30 and 13 Euros after this so spring out of bed folk and walked in one day and on another drove to Seville. Plenty small little bars around hotel for drink and food. The restaurant was okay and had dinner one night and breakfast. Parking in hotel was good compared to some of car parks I've been in Spain ie easy without thinking you'll bash your car.
Hotel comes with parking- The info says x amount per day but it is free. Unless they charge peak times only.
Breakfast was decent with a large selection but more snack food (yogurts, pastries, fruit, etc) than actual food.
We enjoyed using the swimming pool.
It's in a neighbourhood amongst huge villas. So very upmarket area.
As a side note Cordoba has lots of street parking so you dont need to leave car in hotel.
Extra comfortable big bed felt just like home
Daily full cleaning which made it even more comfortable it was sparkling every day
Best location in Cordoba 3-6 minutes walk to all important attractions
We took the room with mosque view I highly recommend it , it was very nice setting in the room admiring the mosque at night. The room was bigger than pictures bathroom too
Friendly staff
The hotel felt like a 5 star hotel
The hotel was small and charming. Very helpful staff, though some spoke little English (and I spoke little Spanish). The breakfast was sufficient (toasted rolls with tomato purée and finely chopped ham, hard boiled eggs, small yogurts, fruit, VERY strong coffee). We checked out and (with the staff’s help) left our luggage in a locked closet for a final day’s wander in Córdoba.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Miguel. The location was close to all the things we wanted to see. The reception was extremely friendly, polite and helpful with all our questions. The hotel was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. We will stay at Hotel San Miguel if we ever are able to visit Cordoba again. We highly recommend this hotel.
This apartment hotel is a real gem.
It is very modern, has beautiful luxury interior and oustanding service.
It is not just a place to stay, it is an experience.....
Located at the very heart of historical center...
Has parking in few hundred meters from the property.
Alfonso, our host was at his best.
Outstanding!
The location is perfect. The hotel is next to the Mezquita Cathedral. We chose the room with parking place so it was very easy for us to park. After check out we walked around the city with the car left in the parking area. The breakfast is very good. I strongly recommend the breakfast. The staff was polite.
"This is my best accommodation so far from the time I have booked apartments in Spain. Everything is superb and valuable for the money. The owner, Luis, is a very nice guy who is always ready to assist in case of anything. It was a really nice time during my stay."
Everything is perfect. big room, king size bed, very clean and quiet, beautiful environment, welcome wine and chocolate, convenient location, friendly staff. 5 stars hotel stand but economic price level. will surely return if I visit Cordoba again.
This is luxurious hotel located near Plaza de las Tendillas. Great location to walk to sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room. Secure and clean. Best hotel of my 2 weeks in Spain. Also best priced hotel.
The location was perfect for what I had planned. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room very comfortable. It was my favorite lodging during my trip to Spain and Italy.
Great hotel! Beautiful rooms, a wonderful courtyard with pool and the staff was very friendly! The bus station is 2 min away, which gets you directly in the center.
This was the best serviced hotel I stayed in Spain. All staff was very helpful and friendly which a bit difficult to find in large and chain hotels in Spain.
Terrific Hotel. Staff were courteous & polite. Given a lovely room which had all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Excellent all round! 👍
