The rustic atmosphere with the lovely upgrade of the room, as mine was drenched in water during the storm, the very helpful staff and the central location.

I felt so welcome and Laura is the sweetest person, so helpful and she makes you feel at home. Fresh fruit, candy, cookies in the room and water and milk in the fridge.
Just like home!

I did a lot of research and the best value for money car hire, and I used them for a month, was Autoreisen at the airport.
I went for a cycling holiday, but not too strenuous, and there are a good few miles of relatively flat tracks along the sea front, either side of and through, puerto del rosario. I was a little unlucky with quite high winds, a bit out of character for February/March.
Aldi, Lidl and the large chain Spanish supermarkets available in easy car distance.
I don't know why but the locals and visitors are much more friendly on Fuerteventura than they were on Lanzarote when i went there for a month last year.

This is a real town for locals not primarily tourists , there less restaurants than more tourist places and they are dotted about the town.
It’s got a port and harbour as well as a small beach and a massive shopping centre . Generally the place looks like it’s undergone some improvements, paving, buildings etc , away from the port area there are new , old and abandoned areas all in various stages but I always felt safe. There doesn’t seem to be much nightlife unless we just didn’t find it, even at weekends. We were lucky to be there for the carnival so that was interesting.
It’s ideally located to tour the island as we did in our 2 weeks stay.

It's not a fancy touristy town but we loved it.
It's not a fancy touristy town but we loved it. If you prefer to live like the locals and stay away from mass tourism it is perfect. It is also perfectly located to reach both the north, the south and the west it the island.

This is not a resort, but a real, working port.
This is not a resort, but a real, working port. For me, that was the charm - there are tourists here, but most of the people around are clearly Spanish. The front is pleasant to walk along with lots of places to sit in the sun. There are lots of great cafes and bars, too, and a large shopping centre with up-market shops. The Miguel Unamuno house is worth a visit. Nice town.

Puerto del Rosario is a charming small town with everything you need. It has it's authenticity since it is not mainly touristy place, but also everything a tourist might need on their vacation. Nice clean sandy beaches, lots of restaurants and bars with great and not too expensive food, great localy crafted beer, shopping center with lots of choice for buying groceries, clothes, toys, electronics etc.
It is well connected to the rest of the island with bus lines, and is also the closest place to the island's airport.

A beautiful home away from home. Elvira is an exceptional host that made us feel very welcome.
Stunning location with an amazing view of the ocean right from the terrace and the main room with a double bed.
Very comfy beds, a small library of old Spanish books, beach towels and everything you need in the kitchen.
As a bonus: beautiful flowers that Elvira tends to with great care. A place with character as opposed to hotel rooms.
Will definitely be back.
Superb location, nice and quiet given how close it is to the airport. Only 1:40 Euros on bus line 3. Go to sleep to sound if surf, my room allowed me to see the sunrise from my terrace. Beautiful hotel, great staff and architecture with palm trees rustling by entrance. Good food too, nice hot water and you can walk straight from the hotel along the rocky coastline one way and a nice sandy beach the other. Wanted to stay longer but stuck with my plans. Recommend 😃
This is a super clean apartment in Puerto del Rosario. As we rented a car, this was our perfect base to discover the whole island. Looking back I was so happy I had not chosen just one place (either in the north or south) to stay, but this way we could discover all the magnificent playas of the island. The owner of the flat was super helpful, if we had a question he could answer it on Whatsapp right away. I would definitely recommend staying here for everyone.
Laura, the host, is one of the most lovely persons I met in Fuerteventura. She even offered me some Navidad delicious home-Made cookies & a take-away dinner with prawns, meat, Canarian potatoes & wine and I could go on and add more.
Her generosity and kindness is touching.
thank you once again my dear Laura.
I strongly recommend this accommodation.
obviously this is not a 4 or 5 stars hotel but well, it depends what you value in life or while on vacation.
Front desk and general staff very, very friendly and nice. They helped us answering our questions regarding where to go and what to do in Fuerteventura and they helped us rent a car from local rental company Delta at a fair rate. Always a nice, helpful attitude. 5 starts to the staff!
The location is 3 minutes from the beach. Being so close to the airport wasn't that bad regarding the noise.
The host was very helpful and attentive. The apartment was clean and in good order and had all the equipment we needed.
Plenty of space to park close to the apartment. Only two minutes from the main road to reach anywhere on the island.
Puerto del Rosario is centrally located and close to the airport
This is a perfectly located apartment in Puerto del Rosario. It was clean and comfortable. The host was helpful and easy to deal with. The restaurant that they also run is conveniently located downstairs and highly recommended, as is the paella that has to be booked in advance.
Stunning sea view from our room. Watching the sunrise from bed every morning. Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Shower was nice and soothing and location was great with a 20 to 30 minute walk to the centre but this was along the beach.
The apartment is new, very clean, absolutely comfortable and fabulous. The décor is great and cozy. Every single element is well thought and good quality. We had very nice stay and we would be coming back each time we're in Puerto del Rosario.
Simple old fashioned style Spanish hotel with very clean rooms and good bathrooms in good location near the harbour, with helpful friendly staff, good option for couple of night stay, ten minutes walk to main bus station or big shopping centre
The place is nice and clean except this is not a typical hotel. There is no 24/7 front desk reception. This is more a block with small flats.
you have a separate entrance, inside is the room with bathroom. Everything is clean and tidy.
The host was wonderful. She gave tips about what to do in Fuerteventura and even picked me up from the bus stop.
The flat was impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable. And the public transport is also very close by.
Perfect position in Puerto del Rosario: close to the beach, the mall and bus stations.
The flat is nice and has all the necessary furniture.
Great Wifi connection.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable.
Particularly liked the laid table when we arrived, very welcoming.I
Shopping centre with supermarket very near by.
