Hi! You are welcome to stay in our lovely cottage which is uniquely situated in the middle of wild nature in Matsalu National Park. Here you will find fresh air, ultimate silence (except the birds) and deep relaxation from camping, nice dinners with friends and family and our great sauna! Once you are here, you will discover that the wonders of nature are just around the corner - such as flocks of wild geese or deer hopping by.

I love the bird watching opportunities Matsalu offers. When I have more time, I book a boat ride on Kasari river, which is especially massive in early spring - the amount of birds and animals one can see during 1,5hours is incredible and I have never left disappointed. Flocks of birds gather around our cottage house during their travel period, so I have a lot of photos of geese and common cranes already. During summers I go to forest or bog to discover nature and pick berries. Hot summer days in our almost private sandy beach are perfect with my kids! I am also a big sauna fan and try to go to sauna as often as possible. Fortunately we have a great sauna at our cottage house!

Matsalu National Park is a paradise for nature lovers - during spring and autumn you can spend endless hours bird watching. There are numerous observation towers, hiking trails and also an official visitor centre/museum. In addition to seashore and Kasari river, the region has bogs and forest areas where it is very probable to meet wild animals, such as deer, fox or hare. Recently even jackals have been found in the area! Once the quietness of beautiful nature is too overwhelming, one can visit Haapsalu and Pärnu (both about an hour away)- famous summer cities, where you have great opportunities for wining and dining alongside cultural activities or just strolling along the beach. A slightly longer trip will take you overseas to Saarema, which is famous for its biggest city Kuressaare.
