Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Pay attention to buy tours from seller on the road or from the massive tour agency! We totally reccomend you to have a look and book from the official website of bayahibe Village. Canto de la playa is the best!

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana.
The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that.
The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.
This was a great place to just crash for one night (arrive late and leave early): it's centrally located, more affordable than other locations in town and the staff was truly great. The breakfast in a nearby restaurant was very simple but sufficient for a light start of the day and the setting was nice.
I really appreciated the opportunity to pay by payPal as I could not pay by cash (which is the only thing they accept).
Many thanks to the front desk staff who helped me make last minute arrangements for my day in Bayahibe.
It’s a cozy place to stay right in the middle of the village. The room was very clean, especially I can point out the cleanliness of the bedsheets. It was nice to get as a benefit small fruit plate every morning. I would recommend to get a tour to Saona island with the hotel. The price is very reasonable for it. Last, but not least, Bayahibe is extremely safe place, we were able to be outside even late night.
Above all, the staff was very professional and friendly. Compliments to Manuel for running things smoothly and for being of great help. This B&B is clean and cosy, while the cute little pool is very refreshing. The area is nice, with a few mini markets, a few good dining options (do check out Alkquimia and D'Manuel la Cueva), vicinity of a public beach and the town of Bayahibe.
the hotel is beautiful (actually even better in real life than in the pictures) and not too big (compared to other all inclusive hotels). the cocktails are delicious and the buffet was great !! it is very well maintained and looked after, finally a hotel where you can still find spots on the beach/pool at any time of the day ! we loved our stay !!
Great location and communication with Nicoletta, great facilities (Nespresso coffee machine and capsules provided by the host, drinking water dispenser). The best option from far (we stayed in 4 different locations during our stay in Dominican Republic, including one top resort in Punta Cana and still we loved here the most).
The hotel was great, and it was conveniently located near a stunning beach. The staff was great; they were quick to respond, kind, and helpful whenever I had questions or concerns. The room was spotless, which was a big plus for me. The breakfasts were delicious as well. No problem at all.
The stay was wonderful, the host and staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, the breakfast is simple, but nice. We had a room with spacious balcony overlooking the street. Good quality for that value. Btw you can see Manatee (sea cow) at 7am near Bayahibe beach!
The location is simply the best in Bayahibe! 10+
Cleaned room with an extremely comfortable bed!
The best restaurant food and staff was at the Bloved.
Coconut boys always there at the beach to give you fresh coconut water :) we loved it!
Nice hotel, seems to be new or renovated. Beautiful garden and awesome pool. If you want to find a quiet place in Bayahibe, this is the best choice. No loud music, no crowd.
It was the best stay in Dominican Republic. Best ocean view room. Clean area everywhere, friendly member of the staff hotel, great outdoor gym area, delicious food.
The hotel is located not that far from the beach(10 min) walking. The staff is very friendly and always here to help! We enjoyed staying in Bayahibe village😀
