A lot went well. A reservation for the restaurant, although they were 'booked out'
The atmosphere of the old building is superb.
Breakfast á la carte. Very unusual, but such a great experience.

The “room” was of an amazing size - the whole ground floor of a section of the hotel! The buffet breakfast (although not cheap) was superb.
Directly on the promenade, this historic hotel in Stralsund Harbor offers its own shipping pier, excellent spa facilities and maritime-themed rooms with a view of Stralsund Lake or Old Town.

Gorgeous building, nice staff, great location, nice to have the coffee roasters on site. Would have been nicer to have a fridge and coffee machine or water kettle in the room.

It's one of the lesser attractive hanseatic cities but they always try to offer more. If you go there, expect little. I would recommend to visit Stralsund for slow travelling. One or two relaxing days are enough to enjoy the city and your life. This is what Stralsund is giving. Most activities, restaurants and visitors are in the old town. You can take every public transport quickly to get down town. The biggest tip is the Ozeanum which has its own bus station.

Stralsund is a nice large city with a harbour and beautiful old town. Compared to the other cities we visited in North Germany it was the one with the most entertainment and good stores. I do recommend it for a two day stay

Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet.
Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet. The accommodation provided no brochures and there was nothing at the railway station where most people arrive. Rugen is very close but there was nothing to help getting around it.
The hotel is located a bit outside of Stralsund but therefore it was very quiet. Walking distance to the city center is 20min. We had a nice room for a couple, the beds very comfy and cosy, the room was clean but not very modern anymore. The bathroom had definitely seen better times, but for a weekend stay it was perfectly okay. The breakfast was a buffet-style with a huge variety of meat and sausages, a bit of cheese, jams, yoghurt and some fruits. Coffee was tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location, and the nearby parking at a reduced rate were both good reasons why we chose to stay at this property. Stralsund had a special event with Military re-enactments taking place throughout the city during our stay, and many of the participants were staying here also, so we were able to learn more about the event during breakfast conversations.
A bus ride from Stralsund town, but right across from the Stortebecker brewery and delicious dinner at the Stortebecker Gastehaus. Our room at the pension was attractively decorated, and the breakfast was the best food we had in two weeks in Germany. Much care was taken to anticipate and provide for whatever guests might want
A lovely place to stay near to the centre of Stralsund. 5 minutes walk from the railway station, about 10 minutes easy stroll into the town centre, through a quiet area and across the Knieperteich. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, basic cooking essentials provided. Quiet and sheltered balcony.
We stayed in the "Superior Double Room" with the sea view, which also has a huge balcony. It was an amazing experience for us. The hotel is located close to the harbor and Ozeaneum and lots of different restaurants. The room was clean and well furnished. We definitely will stay here again next time.
Really nice, cozy hotel with modern but cozy rooms. We had one with a little kitchenette that was great to have a snack and also doing some co-working together.
There was a trendy looking living room with a fireplace that looked interesting, but not quite inviting enough for us to check out.
Stralsund is beautiful. The hotel is a fine old building directly across the road from the main station. The staff are really pleasant. The breakfast is very satisfactory - I have gluten intolerance and one or two other intolerances, but I was able to choose dishes that suited me.
The hotel is within walking distance of everything. There are buses nearby to get to and from the station. My room was ready early in the morning. It had a nice color scheme and a fridge. There were a few TV channels in French and English available.
Spacious room with great view over Stralsund. Very friendly staff. Parking was full, but could park in front of the hotel. Central location. Good breakfast, smooth check-in and check - out. Stayed here before, and will stay here again.
stuff at the reception was helpful, they communicated effectively via Booking's chat, hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from coastline promenade, cleanliness
