Though the hotel was in the mountain and not near the lake we loved the location and it’s beautiful surrounding. Hotel and room was very clean and managed by very kind people. All the staffs were very friendly giving a feel of being home. We travelled to Titissee for a day trip with kids and end up staying there to avoid night travel back to Swiss and it was the nicest thing in our trip to stay back.

This hotel is located in the spa town of Saig, right in the Upper Black Forest (Hochschwarzwald) nature park, near the Titisee and Schluchsee lakes, and the Feldberg mountain. The Hotel Ochsen offers traditional Black Forest hospitality in beautiful natural surroundings. This is an ideal place to come and relax, lounge on the terrace, or go on a hiking or cycling tour. Go for a swim in the indoor pool, and unwind in the sauna, steam bath and solarium. Children can also play to their heart’s content in the hotel playground. Dine in style and enjoy the Baden cuisine offered with a good selection of wines. Guests here enjoy free parking at the hotel, as well as free internet access in the rooms.
