The staff and owner were all very friendly and welcoming. I love sleeping with the window open (which had a screen ❤️) and listening to the birds and frogs hanging around the pond. Had a great walk through the woods oustide of town.
The house is lovingly decorated and a nice mix of new renovation in the old half-timbered farmhouse.

It was kind of a random choice in my case, but I was so impressed with the hotel that we chose it again and it was the right choice! Small hotel in a quiet place. Very clean, with really nice and helpful staff.
Dating back to the 12th century, this historic hotel is set in a former castle. It features large gardens, a restaurant and traditional rooms.

Our room was in a side building and upstairs. The castle is beautiful with well kept grounds which we enjoyed for an after breakfast stroll. There are facilities for events and conferences. The restaurant doubles for dinner and breakfast - both were top notch. We did not want to leave this hotel!!! Parking was included on the grounds.
It was our fourth time to stay in the hotel which speaks for itself. The room was very clean. The thing I really liked was that they prepared enough towels for us 4. The breakfast was excellent. Even if it was not a buffet (corona limittions), we had a lot of fresh tasty bread, local coldmeats, cheese, vegetables, jams. The staff were kind and friendly, as always.
Nice, quiet hotel in a small town close to the highway. A spacious room. Staff spoke English enough to communicate. They were very polite and helpful and remedied a small mistake regarding room assignment. Breakfast was okay.
