Worth a visit. The wine restaurants with life music is just from an age, when Germans started to travel again after WW2 in the sixties, but it is fun, original and people are very nice and friendly. I'll definitely do it again with guests from oversees!!DDominicGermany - 10Scored 10

The staff were very helpful and friendly, all areas clean and well maintained even though hotel is slightly dated, but this just adds to the character of the building. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order and plenty of yogurts, fruit, juice, breads, meats & cheeses etc Room spacious, well heated (required as visited end November for Christmas markets) with good powerful hot shower. We chose because it had own on site parking as we are on a road trip and were glad we did. Would definitely stay here again.

The locals were very friendly especially our host Thomas. The wineyards are beautiful and we loved the gondola tour up the mountain while we walked the trails down the mountain. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The apartment is organized so conveniently that you have the opportunity to have a perfect rest, work, fix yourself dinner, drink a glass of wine at the table beside the window, which is also a part of a small tower! Perfectly furnished. Bathroom space is great, shower is perfect, bed is super comfortable! There is also an open roof terrace! You don't need anything more!

I went there with my husband for a nice relaxing getaway and this hotel did not disappoint. The hotel is nearly 500 years old and shows its charm. The village is also quite nice and the local red wine is amazing. Highly recommend for couples who just want to get away for a bit.
