My family and I stayed in the Family suite and it was a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. We drove from Triberg and the views are really breathtakingly beautiful. Nestled in the Black Forest, the Gasthaus is so well taken care and really was a welcome retreat of relaxation. I met the new owner and she was so welcoming and accommodating to any request. They spoke perfect English and made us feel at ease upon arrival. The balcony with the mountain view is a relaxing and stunning view. Breakfast is in a beautiful room and delicious (especially the coffee and meats & cheeses). It was a great experience and I really recommend anyone to stay here in this friendly and clean environment. Thank you Gasthaus zum Kreuz for a great stay.

Located in the heart of the picturesque Black Forest, family-run Gasthaus Zum Kreuz offers a great opportunity to explore the countryside. It provides free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TVs. A buffet breakfast is available in the guest house’s restaurant, which specializes in regional and seasonal cuisine. A wide selection of home-made cakes is also available. Guest may enjoy hiking through the Black Forest. The famous Lake Titisee is 9.3 mi and Feldberg Ski Resort 16 mi from the guest house. The scenic Thurnerspur cross-country ski trail begins at the guest house and goes to St. Märgen, 5 mi away. Freiburg and the A8 motorway are a 30-minute drive from Gasthaus Zum Kreuz. The French border is a 50-minute drive away.
