Our rooms had gorgeous furnishings and sleek, modern bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The flexible check in process was great since we ended up arriving late. Generous portions of meat, cheese, and bread for breakfast.

We stayed for one night on our trip to Austria from the Netherlands. The rooms were new, clean and comfortable. The atmosfere is good and you are in the brewery. The food in the restaurant was also very good with a personal service.

This family run Gasthof Brauerei was everything I'd hoped for. Excellent local style food and superb beer made on the premises. Walstetten village has a very traditional feel, and zum Engel sits well in this with terrace garden to appreciate the fayre and the ambience.

It’s a super nice, quiet place, super clean and family managed. Not the usual hotel stay. As the name says, a brewery, restaurant and hotel. The rooms are simple but got all what one needs. A very welcoming team - even if we arrived late due to traffic. I didn’t manage to try the restaurant since we arrived late, but the beer is exceptional as much as the breakfast comes with super fresh bread, regional colds and a nice coffee. The rooms are clean as said, this is for the comfy bedding and clean bathrooms. The location is on the one side convenient not far from the highway and also offers a lot to do in in the surrounding area. The whole team is welcoming and nice throughout - sorry again for arriving late. This will definitely be my place to stay for a small get away or a good place to stay on the way through. Try the beer - and hopefully you can enjoy the food too.
