The room was huge, with it's own little kitchen area out back with a large fridge, hot plate, dishes etc. Then there was another larger kitchen down the path. The air conditioning worked well. Plus there were fans also. It was clean. There was a nice covered sitting area right out front of our room with chairs and a hammock. The staff was very helpful. They stored our luggage while we were on an overnight tour in Corcovado National Park at no extra charge and told us where to park our rental car beside the general store across the street. This was much appreciated!

It’s a nice place to stay when you are on a budget. We liked the use of the kitchen and the patio in front of the room with the hammock. Also the daily cleaning service was nice. There’s a grocery store across the street.

Nice to have warm water in the shower; appreciated the owners letting me know without me asking that I could leave luggage if I had an early tour and pick it up after check out time; although I didn't cook in it, the kitchen had more in it than I expected; nice to have three fans even in the most basic room.

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay just 5 mins down the hill from town. Large cozy room with a hammock and supermarket across the street. Also nice to have a/C. Staff is super friendly but my favorite is being greeted daily by Coco the dog! He's the best dog😁

Big room for low price. 2 fans kept me very cool. Hammock outside was comfy. The owner and family are super nice and extremely helpful. Kitchen had everything I needed. Supermarket right across the street. Parrots and other birds can be seen all around, especially for breakfast and dinner times. They let me hang my wet clothes to dry on lines under a tarp, so the sun got to them but not the rain!

This is a very good value for simple travel. We chose the cheapest rooms, and they were clean, completely adequate, and each has fans and a little outdoor area with chairs, a table, and a hammock. The grocery store is across the street and the communal kitchen is clean, well-stocked, and not used much. More expensive rooms have AC and other options. Just 7 rooms so book early. I'm generally a higher-end traveler, but found this a nice spot for Drake, where tours will consume your money nicely. Be sure to book Sierpe two weeks before your arrival, as the park really does limit entrance and we met people who came without plans and could not enter. Pacheco Tours was great for both Sierpe and Caño. Be sure to tip liberally if you can.
