Our property is located on a small hill directly overlooking the Pacific Ocean within steps of the beach. It is private and lovely. The main road is close by and town is a 15 minute walk away. We are located in one of the most natural and lovely areas in Costa Rica. We would be so pleased to welcome you here and help make your visit be a happy and trouble free experience.
We have owned this property for 24 years and know the area well. We know it's attractions and adventures as well as the tour providers both established as well as new upstarts. We provide a single cabina and you will always receive individual attention when you need it. We are Canadian, in the past we home schooled our children here when they were young during the Costa Rican summers escaping the coldest Canadian winter months. We built our small home here in 1996 and in 2013 built the cabina for rental.
We are a 15 minute walk from restaurants, groceries, small bars, which are located in the town of Agujitas (Drake Bay). We have a lovely swimming beach which has waves which vary with the lunar cycle from surf ready to gentle. It is a good place to boogey board or just walk the sand beaches and lava outcrops and tidal pools exploring. There is a small river which one can fish in as well. We can arrange excursions and day trips such as whale watching, birding, night tours, Corcovado National Park,Cano Island visits, horseback tours, diving, ocean fishing etc. This part of Costa Rica has not been developed nearly as much as has most of the country. We still have a lot of natural jungle which comes from the hillsides to the ocean. There is still wildlife to see most days and always parrots, macaws, and pelicans flying near the beach and ocean. It is literally beautiful here.
