Very clean and comfortable. Nice backyard area, gated home with security cameras, and friendly cleaning lady lives up the road.The location is close to the beach and to airports. The host, Fabio, was very accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

Somewhat secluded beach area about 15 minutes away from Samara. Great for couples or small families wanting to get away from it all. Playa Carrillo is a beautiful calm beach. There aren't many shops and limited choices for restaurants in the immediate area, but that's part of the charm of the town.MarkUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
All was great.
All was great. This is my fifth time in Carrillo and the beach and sorroundings always clean and with safety environment. Getting to Carrillo is very easy, no chance to get lost. One of my favorites spots in Guana!

The beach is quiet and beautiful.
The beach is quiet and beautiful. There are no restaurants, but you can grill, if you have the patience. In the town, there are few restaurants, with delicious food (I highly recommend Hula Jungla). If you need to use the bus, you can take it every hour.

Perfect if you want to get away from the touristic beaches...
Perfect if you want to get away from the touristic beaches like Samara that are dedicated to American tourists. Beware of the crocodiles though, we were told a family lives in the river next to the beach and sometimes, when the weather is stormy, you can see them swimming in the ocean :-DLaurenceFrance

Small intimate boutique place. Owner is very welcoming and he lets us check out bit later than official check out time. I loved having a great steakhouse right on site. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is a popular spot, there were always a lot of diners that weren't staying at the hotel. Close by Playa Carrillo is a beautiful beach and during the weekdays we had it almost to ourselves, lots of palm trees to hang a hammock and easy free parking all along it.
