Hacienda Rio Oro is a great place to take a day to rest after you get out from Corcovado.
It's a glamping site, sitting in the back yard of what used to be a cattle ranch.
It's completely isolated from anything else, a 45 minute walk to the nearest beach you can swim in, and about an hour drive from Puerto Jimenez.
You can hear the hauling mankeys early in the morning.

I recommend to take the kayak tour they offer which will take you to the lagoon located in their back yard (which is much much bigger than it sounds) and you can end the tour on an isolated, beautiful beach, looking at one of the best sunsets you'll see.

The room was good. We ended up staying a second night and asked to move because the wifi did not reach that end of the hotel. We moved and all was good. The included breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and the hoterl is charming.
