Better weather, but can't do anything about that, would have helped with the views. The two Spanish forts are brilliant; we had them to ourselves. The views were amazing and if we had had time we could have spent longer on the little beaches although if was not the season for sun bathing. A frew things to do in town, but we loved the hotel and people.
Excellent location with only nature in sight. Exceptional quality of handmade details in the dome, good airco/heating and comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Chiloé! Owners give the option of a homemade artisanal breakfast, and have meal and lunch options as well. Really liked the home-brewed beats! Easy communication with hosts, very friendly, you could really feel the love they put into their two domes as their project. Thanks a lot for our stay!
The nicest hosts you will ever meet. Señora Tita and Señor Pedro are very enthusiastic about the area and provide a great experience for their guests. They were eager to give us recommendations about tours, restaurants and just general knowledge about Chiloé. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable, with big rooms and multiple bathrooms. It is located less than a minute away from the municipal bus terminal, where all the long distance buses to and from the island go.
It kind of seems closed when we came there. You had to call the owner who opens the door, which is located in a shut down passage. The hotel room good, clean bathrooms and decent beds. The breakfast was alright but you have to take out everything out of the fridge by yourself as if doesn't seem prepared and also have to clean your own dishes.
We loved the lodge-like atmosphere and great water view from our room, which was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Plenty of parking. Communal breakfast was ample and a fun way to meet fellow travelers who provided recommendations on Chiloe sightseeing and interesting insight into life in Chile. Good dinner recommendation.
Great location for someone who is travelling around and wants to visit several places at Chiloe island and who prefer the country side over city centers. Easy access from a main road. Bonus is that is is next to the beach so can also imagine that it is a good place to stay a few days.
Very friendly staff who helped us locate the hotel. Furthermore they let us store our bags for the day while we explored. We rented a full cabana which had laundry machine, full kitchen, and two bedrooms. The space was updated and very clean.
Very cute and cosy place with a super nice and helpful staff ! There is everything you need. My room was really big and comfy, the common area is also very nice, and the house is well located in Ancud. I definitely recommend this place !
The hotel is an absolute joy to look at and visit the outside areas. Located in a cliff, the view of the sea is magnificent from outdoors. The rooms are all in a traditional, wodden style and the breakfast felt very complete.
We liked the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, ample bathroom, and views. On-site parking was a plus. This was the only hotel we stayed at in Chile that had coffee freely available in the lobby all day long.
charming, near the water, walking distance to restaurants, lots of parking in a city that’s so hard to park on, best breakfast selection out of all of our stays in chile, comfortable bed , staff was great
Large room, comfortable bed and the best shower we have had in 3 weeks in Chile. Ample off-street parking and walking distance of the centre of Ancud. Large breakfast.
This a a fairly new hotel with good rooms that are sufficiently large. Most rooms have a very nice view over the lake. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
The rooms are really good for to rest after an actives day in Chiloé. The access from the main road, the proximity with Ancud and the touristic a places!
The hostel has a warm feeling to it. The staff is incredibly nice and they had good recommendations for what to do and visit in and near Ancud. Loved it!
