Small, working, real town with a friendly vibe and very accessible to many local attractions.
In March many shops open late and close early (but not the supermarket).
Amazing views of the mountains and The Chief.
Good information centre at the junction with Highway 99 and Cleveland.

This is good base camp for visiting Whistler for budget conscious visitor to Whistler. The drive to Whistler is very pleasant and scenic. Food at the hotel is good and reasonable. The setting of the hotel is perfect for those who would prefer to rest at night than partying. Room is perfect with a small kitchen to cook simple meals.

There are a lot of beautiful sites to see both within Squamish or within a short drive of the town. Shannon falls is a gorgeous destination to check out only 10 minutes from where we stayed. Whistler is only about 45 minutes north. Squamish itself had lots of cute restaurants, cafes, and store fronts. It is located near rivers and the Howe Bay. Lots of options for hiking in the area. My partner and I will definitely be back!
Wasn’t sure about a self check in process but it was super simple, I wish every hotel operated like this! Cool, clean room and a comfy bed. Parking wasn’t bad either, just a short sidewalk stroll. I got there later than intended and didn’t get to hit the bar, it looked fun but could hear music playing late even in the king room which was advertised as the more quiet option. I’m a sensitive sleeper though and I was fine. Cleaning staff I passed on the way out were very friendly!
I wanted a dog friendly hotel in downtown Squamish
Howesound has cute little rooms that allows dog to be part of the family and enjoy the trip. It is also by some cool trendy shops and the restaurant down stairs is great like I have to eat there whenever I come to this city. The cookies and bear is great too
The location was perfect for exploring Squamish and beyond with family and friends. The space was generous and had many amenities for a group of 5 staying there. We cooked dinner, did laundry, and watch TV with the kids. They really loved the LED changing lights.
We were looking for a place near whistler that wasn't too expensive and found a great option at the Squamish hotel. In terms of facilities it wasn't anything special, but the beds were comfortable and the shower was pretty decent. Coffee was resupplied daily.
Best value for staying in Squamish to ski at Whistler Great restaurant 'Cork & Craft Tap house. Food rivals any at Whistler or even Vancouver. Selection of local brew is vast. Room is large and clean. Will definitely be my choice to stay when at Whistler.
My room view was amazing to begin with, checking in took less than 3 minutes, and the complimentary pastries and coffee was a nice way to start my mornings here in Squamish. Was close to everything I needed to visit (bank, groceries, restos, and gym)
Brilliant hotel. Clean and comfortable, loved the pool and jacuzzi. A couple of good places to eat about a 15 min walk away (plus the delicious Alice and Brohm Ice Cream Co!). Reception staff were really helpful. Free parking right outside.
warm comfortable room with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfy & everything was spotless. The hotel is close to a shopping plaza with restaurants , grocery store etc but a drive into the centre of Squamish
A hostel that feels like a hotel. Comfy beds, warm showers, great facilities, fun and friendly staff and just a brilliant atmosphere. Well located for Squamish town and lots of local walks and activities
The Adventure Inn is located walking distance from downtown Squamish and right on the river. It is a super convenient location meaning I was able to walk everywhere while staying there.
Great motel and very clean. Super service from Sadiq at front counter. Simple motel that was very clean and comfortable.
