Heating controls could be better. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were very thick. Breakfast was the usual frozen stuff with little variety or choices. Overall it was okay.

I travel to Sault Saint Marie for work every 2 weeks.
I travel to Sault Saint Marie for work every 2 weeks. It's got everything one would need when staying there....plenty of decent hotels, eateries and shopping areas.
Sault Saint Marie is a town you pass through heading west, or heading east from Manitoba, through Ontario, or to Sault, Michigan.

We were here for fall train trip and it was nice.
We were here for fall train trip and it was nice. Not needed again though. We went to a different place for every lunch and dinner. We had 2 serving staff that weren’t of a spicy attitude. The other 2 were nice and friendly. The food was fair but nothing that was amazing. I won’t go to the Sault again. Very pretty area though!

We went for fall foliage and were not disappointed- it was gorgeous! Hike Robertson Cliffs! We also did the Agawa Canyon Train and, hmm. We had hoped for a spectacular train ride, and it wasn't. The canyon itself is gorgeous, but you get 1 1/2 hours there which isn't much considering the train ride is 8 hours r/t. Most of the other passengers were elderly though so it seemed about right for the less mobile. We enjoyed the canal site and all the historical markers, but unfortunately went on Sunday and discovered the visitor center is closed on weekends. Huh? The seaplane museum was open and fascinating.

No police in Sault Ste Marie?
No police in Sault Ste Marie? People were drag racing up and down the Main Street in front of hotel all night. Hotel was dated and shabby but clean. For the price it wasn’t good value at all. I’ve paid similar rates at hotels that were well kept and updated. It was clean and staff were nice though.

We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior.
We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior. Absolutely beautiful. We drove up to see the pictographs but I was not able to complete the hike as it was pretty rugged. But my husband did and he got some fabulous photos. Luckily he did not go swimming due to the wet, narrow ledge.

Explore guest reviews of hotels in Sault Ste. Marie
There was a glitch with my prior review and no comments were included. I booked this for my son son and GF who are moving back to Ontario after several years in Whistler, BC. They were on the road for a week and as a helpful reward for completing the long leg around Lake Superior from Thunder Bay I booked the Quattro for them. They said everything was awesome, the room, the hotel, the bar, the pool; and, of course, especially the hot tub. They had gotten up early in TB so arrived at the Quattro just past 4 pm and thoroughly enjoyed their stay!
we have returned to this hotel time and time again. We are always greeted by friendly staff, even when we arrive later than expected. The hotel is dog friendly, which is a must for us, and located next to the waterfront trail. It’s close to museums and a local brewery. The hotel is SPOTLESS and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is now being served again and it was a very standard continental breakfast. The breakfast staff was a delight. I will definitely be back!
The hotel was in a great location as we were primarily in town to do the Agawa Canyon train tour which was about 10min away. It was also near to a variety of food options. The room was clean and looked like it had been recently redecorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room had lots of space to move around in. Breakfast was available at this location and had enough options for us.
Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.
The hotel is older but seems to be fairly well maintained. The front doors marked Hotel Lobby Entrance are locked and you need to enter through the hotel through the parking garage but here was no sign to direct guests that way.
Breakfast was really good. I find room very comfortable. It was silent around. It helps me relax a lot. Above that our room and the whole hotel is very clean. Last year I rented a room in the same hotel in Sudbury and I was very satisfied too.
The location was excellent for travellers using Highway 17. A very good restaurant was adjacent to the hotel. Hotel accommodated need for small trailer parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Manager was friendly. Excellent price.
The breakfasts were very good. We did have to purchase meals. The room was very comfortable, large bathroom. The location was good. On the St. Mary's River and across from Station Mall. One of the best hotels I have stayed at.
The staff were all helpful with our time of the funeral of our very precious loved one. Everyone was very kind. Thank you = chi miigwech for all your help during the stay.
Excellent hotel to stay at. 5 stars 🌟 for sure!
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sault Ste Marie (Ontario).
The breakfast was great. The Microtel Inn & Suites is very convenient to getting back on the highway to Southern Ontario. It is also convenient to restaurants and gas.
We LOVE the pool and outdoor hot tub!! Very unique set up. We have stayed at this hotel before. It is now our preferred place to stay while in Sault Ste Marie 😊
For my two week travel, I stayed at so many hotels, this one so far is the best. Room is big, super clean, nice engineered wood floor. Nothing to complain.
