Although you do not need to interact with us or any other guests to access your private bedroom and bathroom, we remain available to your needs and comfort. Our suites are designed with you in mind. We've tailored each room, our hospitality, and amenities to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We hope that our attention to detail and desire to pamper you shines through each and every moment of your stay.

'Serene Suites' is located in a quiet neighborhood known as Port Wallace, situated in the heart of the Dartmouth Lakes District. We have four rooms available (double occupancy only), each with private bath, flat screen TV, Free Wi-fi, streaming services, mini-fridge, and a microwave in room with instant coffee packets, tea bags and a hot water kettle. Enjoy tea or coffee in the gardens with the birds, a relaxing evening by the backyard fire pit, or afternoon tea on the patio. Whether Netflix, a nearby scenic hike or a well deserved nightly rest, the choices are plentiful. Our rooms offer peace and comfort you have been looking for your trip. Whether you stay for the room, relax in our gardens, or enjoy the nearby lakes, parks or campgrounds, you're sure to enjoy any stay with us whether you're here on business or for some fun. 'Serene Suites' cannot accommodate any more than two individuals per room.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Serene Suites is less than five minutes from Shubie Park, a 40 acre wilderness area nestled between lakes and the historic Shubenacadie Canal. It is also provides access to cycling, hiking, and walking trails as well as the Trans Canada Trail System. The lakes offer places to swim, canoe, and kayak. You can rent what you don't have, and the Waverley Road is bicycle friendly. Dartmouth Crossing, a major shopping district, is less than seven minutes away, as are shops in Cole Harbor and Mic Mac Mall. Downtown Dartmouth is a only ten minute drive away, and the Halifax waterfront is an enjoyable ferry ride beyond. The Robert Stanfield International Airport is 12 minutes north, making air travel easy. If the ocean is your destination, beaches are less than fifteen minutes away as is the picturesque Eastern Passage. Short road trips bring you to the beauty of Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, and the Annapolis Valley. Scattered everywhere are restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, parks, history, and enough scenery and beauty to satisfy any guests. We are located on a Metro Transit bus route ensuring ease of access to all local sites.
