Although certainly cozy, the loft has everything you need for a short stay, including an excellent entertainment system, well-stocked kitchen, and an adorable little table to eat at. We didn't need air conditioning on our stay, but this is probably one of the few places on the Sunshine Coast where you'll find it in case your visit coincides with a hot spell. Most importantly, the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and they went the extra mile when we left a few items behind, holding on to them until we returned a few days later!

There's really nothing to not like about Sechelt, it's a magical place. There only down fall is that restaraunts and such do close pretty easy, so I'd recommend if you're a late snacker like myself hit up the local grocery store.
Lots of great views. Things to see, and awesome duck marsh especially for little one, go to the mall buy a bag of bird seed for $2 can (bread is bad for wildlife) and you can have a ton of fun, the beaches and the list goes on. Highly recommend.

Sechelt is a charming little town.
Sechelt is a charming little town. It has lots of great little shops and pretty streets. It is easy to get around in, and has all of the most important banks, a canadian tire nearby, plenty of restaurants, and it is on higher ground for safety sake.

Sechelt is a cozy, and surprisingly progressive little town.
Sechelt is a cozy, and surprisingly progressive little town. There were pride flags in many of the stores as well as cafes & restaurants that seemed like they were plucked out of Montreal. It's a great place to hang out in, after spending the day hiking forest trails or lounging on the beach!

DO NOT STAY HERE….
DO NOT STAY HERE….Dirty sheets on bed, flies in room and cobwebs. When you complain to the hotel they tell you, “you can not complain that the room is dirty, you have used the room and made it dirty.” That was in 5 minutes of being in the room…..I can’t imagine being told this. Totally unacceptable! Picture is of brown spot on sheets when bed was opened up, gross!!!

What a wonderful town.
What a wonderful town. Well served with cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, hotels, pubs, and local stores.
Sechelt is right on the coast. Views are great and it’s an incredible area to visit. Lots of coastal coves to visit. Take the water taxi from secret harbour with buccaneer tours to thormanby island and spend time on a sandy pebble beach. Peace and quiet in spades.
What a lovely relaxing stay. Suggest you pre- book the horseshoe bay to lang- ferry to speed your crossing
The whole coast is wonderful. Lots of places to stop for coffee, Ice cream, or a cool drink
Suggest staying at Bella Beach inn. Fantastic views, staff and accommodations. The hotel is newly renovated with some great tech updates in the rooms. The king bed was super comfortable. The Patio restaurant attached to the hotel is great. Try the local grown fig pastry dessert with ice cream - Yummy!
If you want to recharge your batteries this is the place and pace to to aim for
Front desk staff was super friendly, and he told us about nearby restaurants and what places were best. The room was very clean, not a stain or spec of dirt in sight. The beds were extremely comfy. No odd smells, and the ac unit does a great job of keeping the room cool during the heat. Location is great within walking distance of almost everything and a pub right next door open late with very good food. Rooms were quiet and could barely hear cars outside. Overall, it was a great place to stay in sechelt.
This was such a lovely home to stay at! We were pleasantly surprised by the kind welcome gifts - some snacks and drinks, plus breakfast items in the fridge! All the beds and pillows were comfortable and the space was nice to just hang out in. We loved the ability to sit outside on the patio, and we also did a little bit of BBQing one of the nights. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Sechelt area!
This is my fourth time visiting this property. I am usually very picky about my accommodations. But garden bridge house meets all my expectations. It is spotless clean, it is very spacious and convenient. Juliet is the most hospitable and friendly host I have ever met. She is very considerate and prepares everything you can possibly need during your stay. Her place is indeed a home outside your home.
We stayed here in the middle of a two week trip from top to bottom of the Sunshine Coast. It was wonderful to have a full apartment to do laundry and eat “at home” after being on the road. Our days here were perfect. Relaxing and easy in this lovely space. Sechelt has lots of great things to do but we loved not being too busy here and having a cozy place to spend down time.
Tuwanek hotel is located in a calm area with direct access to the beach and mountains views. The bedrooms were amazing, we had access to paddle boards, kayaks , a hot tube outside and a steam room. There are hikes nearby the hotel and Sechelt is just a 10/15 drive. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious. We are definitely planning to return :)
Was provided with door code along with a very detailed in orientating to accommodations; including a video tour which was amazing. It was raining out and was met at the top of the driveway with a welcoming smile and positive interaction.
Extremely peaceful and quiet during my time there. Highly reccommend
It was so nice and quiet. Just few minutes drive to town. I originally looked to book a place right in town, but once we arrived in Sechelt and saw how busy it was, (June) we were so thankful for the tranquility of the Studio at the Shores. Mary was also very nice.
Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The kitchen is well outfitted and the owners always leave a plate of goodies for the morning. The bedroom is well appointed with super comfy bed and covers.
Beautifully appointed apartment with super balcony with views of Sechelt Inlet through the trees and access to the waterfront right below. Don’t miss Sandy Hook Park beach 5 minutes walk away.
I love the location of this hotel, and how quiet it is. I have always had a good experience up until the last stay, which unfortunately will not have me coming back.
The suite was lovely - everything you need and more than enough space. It was easy, comfortable and perfectly located in between Davis bay beach and Sechelt.
