- The official line is the water out of the tap is not drinkable unless boiled due to government regulation but when speaking with staff off record, they drink water directly - Beautiful and new looking place and facilities. Very clean - Large rooms and great view outside with nice verandah - Reasonable distance from neighbours so peace and quiet - Great location and onsite activities but if needs a pharmacy as we did, it's close to a 30 minutes drive away. By the way, we recommend drive longer to St Helen rather St Mary. The road to St Mary is definitely on the much more winding side of Tassie roads

Some villas feature a hot tub, a sauna or a patio. Located on the beautiful East Coast, between Bicheno and St Helens, White Sands Resort is within 30 minutes' drive of both East Coast Natureworld and Bicheno Penguin Tours. The Bay of Fires, Wine Glass Bay, and Freycinet National Park are 45 minutes' drive away.
