The property has a comfortable homely feeling that is vastly different from boring hotel rooms. It is surrounded by trees and wildlife (including a family of kangaroos) and is a short walk to Long Beach. The kitchen is well supplied with plates, pots and pans and the other essentials such as foil and cling wrap. The extra touches such as fresh milk for tea and coffee and a few snacks was really thoughtful. The owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all enquiries.

Absolutely stunning location, and gorgeously appointed - photos really don't do it justice. The kitchen has every appliance you're likely to want, and the owner provides tea, coffee, hot chocolate, 1L milk, and a little selection of snacks. The bed, sofa, and recliners are all comfortable, the TV is large, and a selection of DVDs are provided in case nothing on TV takes your fancy. The bathroom includes a range of toiletries and ample towels. There's a barbeque on the deck, and a laundry downstairs for if you're staying long enough to need it.

We travelled to Bateman's Bay to attend The Red Hot Summer Concert. We found our accommodation at Long Beach through Booking.com. The accommodation was a delight to stay in. There were views from all the windows and looking out at the trees it felt a little like being in a tree house. The house was very clean and comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. We had a visit everyday from the local Eastern Grey Kangaroos and many different species of birds. We used our car for our outings as the accommodation is about a 10 minute drive to Batemans Bay. Were were aware of this and were happy to stay in a quieter place. We were able to catch a chartered bus to and from the concert which was very well organised and the pickup point was only a 3 minute walk from the house.

The Yurt hut was beautiful and surrounded by birds of various species and wildlife. On our first day we had wallabies eating on the lawn. Fully furnished kitchen and everything thing needed to cook for ourselves.
