Loved the location and the rustic ambience. The attention to detail was superb and the fireplace was a welcomed feature with the cooler weather. The homemade bread was a treat.Highly recommend this as a place to stay and cannot fault it in any way .

Plus, there’s also a thriving local Eden Valley wine industry to explore. Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s on offer within a short distance from your stone cottage escape: Eden Valley local wineries: Taste the wines of 13 local Eden Valley Wineries. If you prefer a guided tour, then Tour Barossa are happy to pick you up at 1860, and offer private tours, or small group tours. Local attractions: The Herbig tree – the first Australian home of Friedrich Herbig, who married his wife Caroline in 1858, and lived in this tree home with their first 2 children. A quick round – if golf’s your bag, the Mount Pleasant 18 hole golf course is just 3km away from your cottage.
