The host was very friendly and helpful. It’s basically a house on a small family farm where they have cows, pigs and the ducks. However it’s very clean and quiet and we enjoyed a pastoral view and surrounding nature at it’s best. There is a village at 8 min drive, where a supermarket and the gas station are located. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped, so you can cook just like you do in your home. We mainly came for the hiking and there are plenty of beautiful trail of all difficulties in the area.

Overlooking the national park Kalkalpen, the family-run Ferienhof Berger enjoys peaceful country-side scenery, and is located on the outskirts of Rossleithen. It features a garden and a small animal farm on site. Fitted with hardwood floor and solid wood furnishings, all of the Berger Ferienhof’s rustic units come with a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Some have a dishwasher. Each of the private bathrooms has a shower. Guests can take on hiking and biking trips directly from the house.
