This has been one of our best traveling experiences. The location is absoutely amazing with the most beautiful view from the hotel. Rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable, the hotel serves very tasty food and the staff is lovely. We truly hope to be back!

In winter only reachable with the chargeable Gerlosstein Cable Car, Berghotel Gerlosstein is located at 5.4 feet above sea level in the Zillertal Alps and offers direct access to the slopes and hiking trails of the Gerlosstein Ski and Hiking Area. It is just 984 feet from the upper station of the cable car. There is a panorama sauna that can be booked on site for a surcharge as well as the romantic sauna pack with massage. The newly renovated rooms and suites feature a balcony overlooking the mountains, satellite TV, and a bathroom. The dining room also offers guests a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant at the Gerlosstein Berghotel has a terrace and serves traditional Tyrolean cuisine. Guests can use a ski storage room, a children’s playground, and free private parking is available on site during the summer season. The access to the hotel by car is on a toll road with 10 EUR fee. The village of Hainzenberg is 4.3 mi away.

Please note that in winter check-in after 16:30 is not possible.
Please also note that in winter, the hotel can only be reached with the Gerlosstein Cable Car. The fee for the cable car is EUR 9 each person one way. No fee for ski pass holders. Parking is available next to the valley station of the cable car. Operating hours are 08:30 to 16:30. The ticket for the cable car is not included in the rate.
Please note that in the summer, a fee of EUR 10 (1 ride uphill and downhill) is necessary to access the road (gravel road, single track, partly asphalted).
