Yerevan is beautiful old city. Its construction is a bit chaotic, so to find nice places you have to walk a lot, but it is an interesting challenge too. The food is great. I strongly recommend restaurant Urartu on Paroyan street, just in front of Konte, the old part of the city which probably will disappear soon. Vine "Armenia" is strongly recommended! The open marker "Vernisaz" is the best place for shopping of traditional jewellery, carpets, and tableware.
But when you visit the city, please, be careful, there are many scammers in the centre of the city. We were stolen by taxi driver that asked to change a note of 10000 in two of 5000, but after substituted the note of 10000 that I gave him by one of 1000. In the center, there walks a russian "guide" Olga (a slim old blond lady with a face full of wrinkles). She invited us for excursian and stole our money. So, be careful and only buy guides in official places. In general, normal armenians, are very nice and sympathics. Do not lose the opportunity to visit Opera theater. The quality of musicians, singers, and dancers is of high standard and the theater itself is very nice.

A beautiful city with great food and nice markets to explore. It's best if you have a local person to give you tips on underground pubs and cafes. It helps to learn a bit of the language beforehand.

I am absolutely in love with the city!
I am absolutely in love with the city!
The whole country is very lovely. Erivan has a lot to offer: delicious food, trendy places, beautiful views and the most kind and friendly people you'll ever encounter. It's my second visit and I'm already missing Erivan.
You can book interesting tours fairly cheap. Everything is quite close, so you'll be able to visit breathtaking tourist places on the countryside, even if your visit is short.
I was amazed by the number of people able to speak German. Most people are very good at speaking Russian and at the restaurants you'll be provided with English menus. A lot of people speak English very well.
It is hard to describe what's so amazing about Erivan. It's just the feel. I've never felt so comfortable and welcomed. The city has very interesting architecture and such a cozy vibe. Visit Armenia, you will not regret it, I promise.

I love Yerevan.
I love Yerevan. It is not flashy on the outside, but quaint and beautiful on the inside. The city has so much to offer, you need to take the time to discover it. The food is amazing, the people are lovely, and the weather and air is refreshing. You can find water fountains all over the town and the country. I also visited several other landmarks and towns, monestaries and hit the ski slopes while here! Everything was great. We had Easter dinner with an Armenian family and they were so kind, the spread was amazing and that was the best part of the whole trip.

The Rooftop Apart-hotel hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to the city center and historical sites. The surrounding area was also filled with a variety of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, catering to the needs of tourists.
I must say that booking my stay through Booking.com was one of the best choices I've made.
I am completely satisfied with the services provided by Booking.com, the Rooftop Apart-Hotel, and most importantly, the hotel reception staff.
All of them were very kind, generous, and responsible.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city center. Wonderful location. The room's windows faced the main street, where music often played loudly in the evening, but thanks to good sound insulation, nothing was heard. The room was small, but everything was great. Cleaning was done every day, even towels were changed. The hotel lobby is very beautiful, spacious, there is a place to relax, a bar, and a restaurant. There are many cool places for breakfast/lunch/dinner nearby. I liked everything very much
There were a couple good things about the apartment, but they were all outweighed by the bad. For example, the apartment _was_ in the city center and next to a grocery, which was nice - but the view was facing a bunch of other apartments of questionable status, and the entrance was in a grimy alley.
There was one other plus - the owner did come to our hotel to pick up the keys to the apartment. Of course that meant we weren't staying in the apartment, so its actually not a good thing.
A satisfactory hotel with an exceptionally accommodating staff. It's just a 5-minute stroll to the city center, providing convenient access to a plethora of restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, boasting freshness, variety, and abundance. Do note, however, that the hotel's entrance is a bit unconventional, tucked away to the side through a courtyard. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a brief stay. Great value for money.
The room was really spacious and comfortable which is very rare to find in Yerevan.
Fine and private atmosphere.
The shower and its cabin need renovation.
It is distanced from the city center but still a good location. Near Dalma garden mall, though the neighborhood is under construction and the road is unpaved yet so you have to walk on the dirt road beside garbage to get to the mall.
The breakfast was ordinary but fine.
All in all worth the price
Anga was on the cheap site of the better hotels and for that we were prepared to walk a bit to get to the city center. But it was then closer to the Armenian Market and St/ Gregory's cathedral.
Breakfast was typical Armenian. Not may choices and not amazing stuff, but some of the items were nice, like the traditional Armenian cottage cheese. And there was a proper espresso machine!
The room was warm and cozy and there was plenty hot water.
Location: the hostel is located at the center of Yerevan, just three blocks from the Republic Square.
Silence: it's in the yard of a block, so there's no traffic noise around.
Hosts: Diana and Karen are very welcoming and responsible hosts, they'd even wake up in the middle of the night to check us in!
Rooms: there are cheaper hostel rooms with shared bathrooms, and there are hotel rooms with their own bathrooms, it's nice to have choice.
First of all, I would like to thank all of the staffs of paris hotel.
My personal review: Great Location- near republic square, restaurants and parks, clean and comfortable room, courteous staffs. My husband had his birthday celebrated in yerevan and the staffs gave him a birthday cake!!! we appreciate this personal touch ❤️ i definitely recommend this hotel and if given the chance to come back to yerevan, I’ll stay here again ❤️❤️❤️
We had a great experience with this hotel. It is located very close to the city center, the rooms were clean and nice. Has a backyard where you can seat and enjoy the evening fresh air. The staff was supportive and very courteous. Breakfast was delicious, so we liked everything. It's such a nice hotel we'll be back next week and always recommend it to our friends. Thanks for the great experience. 👍👍
I liked the receptionist which name is Anushik, she is so kind and friendly. Everything about hotel with super extreme good the staff friendly the atmosphere very nice very convenient and near City center everything was available the price was convenient if I want to come back to Armenia again I will come again to this hotel especially Miss anushik was the best
the apartment hotel is conveniently situated near the city center, providing easy access to tourist attractions and restaurants. Additionally, we appreciated the spacious and clean studio rooms, which offered a comfortable stay. Despite booking last minute, we found the value for money to be exceptional compared to other hotels in Yerevan.
Typical city hotel with tiny lobby, ideal for several nights to get to know the city. The hotel is new, new facilities, new furniture etc. Perfect location, literally couple of steps from local pedestrian street and city center. Very kind staff (as almost everywhere in Yerevan). We got a room of higher class than booked.
Brand new hotel easily accessable by taxi from airport and city center.
Nice restaurant downstairs is a helpful advantage of the place.
Extremely hospitable and qualified staff.
"Don't disturb" indicator is incorporated in the outer panel and managed with a room switch.
Really excellent hotel located in the city center, they provide good service, room was so clean and beautiful, bedsheets new and fresh, looks like that this is a new hotel.
Next time I will come here again for sure.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Lovely hotel right in the city center (Republic square is just around the corner), the breakfast was delicious and the stuff was very helpful. You can have breakfast in a wonderful patio. If you need a place in Yerevan, book without a doubt.
the location was very good. In the city center near the main streets and famous restaurants for tourists.
we had been there for our honey moon and the hotel surprised us with a free bottle of wine in the room, which was so kind of them.
the hotel is is well situated at the city center ,the staffs are Rey kind and polite ,the service is good and it’s a comfortable place,I suggest this hotel to every passenger so all around the world
It was very clean, and the hotel was located in the perfect place, close to the city center. The staff were very polite and friendly. If I come and visit Armenia again, I'd choose Tigran again.
