Located on the grounds of Vadstena abbey, this hostel offers a garden and views of lake Vättern. Free WiFi is available. Vadstena Castle is 1 km away. To be honest, as an accomodation it was pretty average. But the surroundings, not least for a person interested in history. When booking the room, I didn't realise that it was *so* close to the old convent. Nor did I realise it was so close to lake Vättern (just outside the door) and I sorely regretted not bringing my swimsuit. The staff on site was also brilliant.

Housed in refurbished glassworks’ buildings, this property is set between Göta Canal and the Motala River. It offers rooms and apartments and a lush garden. Among the most beautiful places ive seen, if you are in the area staying here is a must. Exceptionelly friendly and service minded staff. Loved it.

This hostel is located in Norrköping’s popular Industrilandskapet area. Free WiFi access and brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV. Extremely clean, nice beds and generally a good experience at a really nice price. Breakfast was good, the staff was nice and the check-in process was very smooth. I would definitely recommend!

Turistgårdens vandrarhem i Norrköping is set in Norrköping, about 2 km from Louis De Geer Concert Hall and The Museum of Work. Free private parking is available on site. An unexpectedly comfortable hotel. I will definitely stop by again.

Escape and live the live of Pippi Longstocking? Then choose this place. Cute Swedish cabins or as a hostel, at a lake with beautiful sunsets in an area that breaths Astrid Lindgren's world. We were happily surprised with the facilities, spa/sauna, comfy showers, outdoor and indoor common seating, the posibility to put the beds in your cabin the way you want and a functional common kitchen. If you'd rather relax, one can also order breakfast and dinner. There is a library, a beach volleybal spot and a jetty to enjoy the lake. Nature reserves, including the ones at the vast lake Vättern, are only 20km aways. Same goes for the motorway E4, which makes the Trehörning hostel a perfect stop when driving cross country through Sweden. We want to return.
