It is a wonderful guesthouse managed by a couple who owns the house and who take care of their guests. They know very well the island and can make great recommendations. The kitchen is great to use with everything that you need, including roasted ground coffee by the owner. You easily feel at home. And moreover the view on the sea is amazing and you have access to a beach.

Hoshi no sora in Shodoshima has a garden and a terrace. Built in 1975, renovated in July 2018, the property is within 7 km of Twenty Four Eyes Movie Studio. Sakate Port is just a 4-minute's walk away.... The hosts were amazing people and very kind. The breakfast was delicious too.

Irifune is a 7-minute drive from the Tonoshou Port Ferry Terminal. It offers free parking on site and views of Angel Road. Tori is a wonderful host. He picked us up from the ferry and returned us to the port on our departure. Irifune is a lovely quaint destination, right on the water's edge. Our room was a rustic Japanese style with tatami mats and futons. We had beautiful views of Angel Road. As well as a private bathroom there is the added bonus of separate male and female onsen style indoor bathing areas. These were a great way to relax after a day's adventuring.
