Located in the southern Jutland town of Løgumkloster, this retreat centre is on the grounds of an old Cistercian monastery and church. It offers free WiFi and buffet restaurant. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and a gourmet restaurant. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

This holiday apartment is situated in the village of Døstrup, 5 km from the Wadden Sea in south-western Jutland. It features free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and spa bath in the bathroom. The owners were fantastic and hospitable - they gave us a tour around the place and we could watch the feeding of animals - which was lovely! The hosts put a lot of heart into the farm and you can really see and feel it! Even though the farm has animals the room was very silent at night. The place is a renovated original farm building, which gives a very nice feeling... The bed is super comfortable, the place was warm, the shower worked and you even have a small but well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare a meal. We did not choose the breakfast option, so no opinion about that. The surroundings are great - you can have food or coffee outside at the table, and there are places to have a nice walk. Very close to Romo and Ribe.
