The house is small but very cute with all amenities available. Only one shower for men and one for women but since there are not many rooms, it wasn’t a problem. Several toilets. Cute little terrace in our room as well. The host was very nice and accommodating. Free parking.

Amazing place to stay in Norikura!!!! Close to the train station and also close to the start of hiking trails to Ichinose Meadow and also Zengoku Falls. Also walking distance to the two restaurants in the area that were open - Primavera and Cafe Maple. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom and shower super clean. Loved the whole look of the inn… so comfortable and cozy. The Onsen is private (you reserve 1/2hr spots) and so lovely… great place to warm up at the end of the day! Staff super friendly and helpful.

When compared to other properties I stayed in during my trip to Japan, this one feels the most like a home. And it is a cute traditional Japanese house, with everything you need. There’s a communal space in the first floor that is a pleasant place to gather and talk. I loved it and I would only stay here whenever I visit Matsumoto. The hosts are amazing :)
