Despite the weather, the warm welcome was a ray of sunshine. My evening dining experience was nothing short of very enjoyable, a truly delightful local pasta cooked by the host Biagio. Very welcoming and a great location to discover the immediate local interest. Being between Etna and Taormina make Alcantara a great place to stay.

Timo and Rosalba are magnificent hosts. Rosalba cooked us an incredible dinner, Timo was the perfect waiter and host. We loved our stay. It sits high up but has wonderful views of the valley below. The hill is steep and twisty but we stayed at an even twistier b&b the following night which made Alcantara seem tame. In short we loved it! Thanks so much.

We popped our tire just in front of the accommodation, the host went above and beyond to help us get it sorted as quick as possible as we were flying out in 2 days. We are so grateful for the hospitality we received! The food was amazing too, we had breakfast and dinners there. Beautiful location, was very relaxing by the pool. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We got a warm welcome. Room was great and very clean. The breakfast is nice, with a lot of choices. The place is beautiful, especially the little gardens with places to relax. Everybody was very friendly and helpfull.
