The hotel is large, has three pools (one 50 cm deep is OK for very small children) working from 8 to 20, great breakfast (06:30 to 10:30) selection and friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space, and we slept like babies. Also the pools zone has a really nice view over the lake (hence the name of the hotel). We were overall very happy to stay there, even if for just a single day.

Great breakfasts, large rooms. The location is in rather a quiet district, close to the Expo 2020 and right to the metro station (side by side, 100m walking distance). Grocery shop with good prices within walking distance as well. In general, the location of the hotel is somehow away from the main city (15-20min by car). Value for money is good if you catch a discount. I also get a free upgrade to one of two rooms I've booked, on arrival (thanks). The rooftop swimming pool sounds interesting but didn't have an opportunity to swim, just watched. A view from the top is OK, the worker at the swimming pool says you can see the city in a distance, but only if you're lucky to catch clean air (rare in Dubai). Most of all: this hotel has a sort of system that causes beautiful scents to be sensed in all areas but restaurants. It really smells great around, including rooms, corridors. So nice. It is also very clean, far better than other hotels I've been to in UAE so far.
