It exceeded our expectations. Place is better than in pictures. Great for family with kids - there is a garden for kids to play. There is everything you might need from kitchen supplies. And it is clean.

La casa es senzilla pero esta perfecta. Tot net i al seu lloc. La Veronika es encantadora i super atenta. L'esmorzar espectacular, amb melmelades casolanes. Strba es un lloc perfecte si voleu (com hem fet nosaltres) pujar al Rysy.

I had a wonderful stay. The Owners and family were so friendly and welcoming. They made my stay extra special especially the grandma. The daughter and her husband spoke English so it was nice to be able to communicate. When I arrived I only had American dollars for cash and they only accept Euros but they allowed me to pay with my dollars. Also the shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. This was a lovely place to stay and anyone staying here would make a good choice.

The owner came to meet our train, even though it was delayed, and picked us up in a car at about 10 at night to take us to the property! Totally unexpected! I don't speak Slovak and he doesn't speak English, but we managed with German and he was very friendly and helpful. Lovely guy.

Lovely place! A miscommunication due to the fact I was unable to reply to text messages meant I arrived an hour before check in opened. Gabriela's friends let me inside to wait until she arrived. Everyone was very accommodating of my mistake! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. It's right near the train station and easy to catch a train up to Štrbské Pleso to do some hiking.

Great place to stay: close to Strbske Pleso and Poprad city. The hotel is very comfy, the room was very clean, large and warm, with perfect water flow in the shower. It was very quiet as the room is located in a small village. Breakfast is typical for hotels, but for such price it was included, so I can't complain. Staff was helpful as well. I liked my overnight stay a lot and will be definitely back.

This location is a good base for discovering the High Tatras. It is close both to Štrbské Pleso and Stary Smokowiec. I generally don't like shared kitchens but this property has a large and comfortable shared kitchen with all the equipment for cooking available including a stove, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and a dishwasher. There is also good quality free coffee and tea.
