Set in Ispoure, close to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and 43 km from Biarritz, Maison Bidegain Berria boasts a terrace and views of the mountains. Some rooms have views of the garden or city.

We arrived at this property and were met by our hosts Bernard and Nga. We were accommodated in Bernard and Nga's own home which is beautiful. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was on the top floor which was decorated lovely and had a lovely bathroom with shower. Nga made us a wonderful breakfast both mornings and offered us a smoothie from their own apple trees in their garden. There is a big garden with lots of furniture/seats to sit in and just relax and enjoy. We were allowed to park our motorcycle in their secure garden/under cover which was a bonus. We took our own flask and Nga made us a flask of coffee for our onward journey, this was very appreciated. The area itself is lovely and a walk to the Citadel was well worth it. By the time we left Bernard and Nga's home we felt more like family than guests!

The lady who owns and runs Maison Bakea was friendly and welcoming. She showed us the facilities that were all eceptional and then left us alone. Perfect.

best place to start your camino from!!!! the hosts couldnt have been nicer, staying to let me in much later than the check in time after a flight disaster. they wanted me to have a good start to my trip. their kindness was honestly incredible. the place was stunning and so clean with wood and lovely design. a kitchen area to have tea or coffee. shower area spotless with a heated towel rack handy to dry clothes. when you leave to the immediate right, a camping store with experts to get you set up for camino and last minute things and 30 m up the road is the pilgrims office.

perfect location to spend the night before starting the Camino. Alicia, the hostess, was very kind and helpful. Plus, she prepared and delivered an excellent breakfast to our room. The entire apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the private patio was an added bonus.

Lovely small place in the middle of the historic centre of this beautiful town. The breakfast was very nice with fresh bread and croissants. The hostess ever so friendly and helpful with good advise before our camino-treck starting the next day.
