On this full-day tour from Dar es Salaam, you will be taken by a private vehicle to Bagamoyo to see some of the highlights of this 18th-century city and get an insight into its past linked to the ivory and slave trade.
After a drive of approximately 1.5 hours, you will arrive in the city for a guided tour with an experienced guide. This tour will show you, among other points of interest, the archaeological site of Kaole, a crocodile zoo, the Old Fort considered one of the oldest stone buildings in Bagamoyo, the Caravan Serai Museum, the Old German Boma and the Baobab tree dating back to the 19th century.
