During this cultural tour, you’ll visit the village of Materuni, explore its scenery and learn about local life. Arriving at the village, you’ll head to a coffee farm to discover how the beans are grown, harvested and processed. You’ll try your hand at roasting and preparing a fresh cup of coffee, using the methods of the local Chagga people.
In the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, you'll embark on a leisurely 30-minute hike through beautiful hills and valleys to the Materuni Waterfall. Reaching a height of nearly 300 feet, the breathtaking waterfall is the highest in the area, and you’ll have a chance to cool off in its refreshing waters.
