This full-day, private tour will introduce you to the key sights and ancient attractions of Trujillo. You’ll visit the Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History at the national university to learn about the region’s pre-Colombian cultures.
Your next stop will take you back in time as you visit the pyramid-like Temples of the Sun and Moon, representing the city’s epicenter of power during the Moche times. Here, you can view incredible frescoes uncovered by archaeologists.
During the second half of your tour, you’ll visit an ancestral fishing cove in Huanchaco to view the traditional old boats. You’ll also stop at the abandoned city of Chan Chan where you’ll visit the citadel and the Nik An palace in the archaeological complex.
