Day Trip to Pastoruri Glacier

A visit to the shrinking glacier by horse or on foot

This tour will allow you to visit the Pastoruri Glacier.

You'll start off by seeing the Puva raimondii plants, some of which are as tall as 120 metres. Afterwards, you’ll be dropped off near to the glacier. Here, you'll have the choice between riding a horse or walking 5,250 metres to take in this shrinking glacier. The hike will be about forty minutes if you choose to walk.

You'll have lunch in Ticapampa before returning to Huaraz.
