This tour will take you through the city of Malacca for a fun local experience off the beaten path. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at a local favorite Indian restaurant. Then, you’ll walk through the city and see the Christ Church and St. Paul Hill as you learn about the influence of the Portuguese, Dutch and English. You’ll learn about the Peranakan culture and the influence of Chinese traders in the latex rubber business.
Your guide will take you to the largest market of Malacca, Jonker Street, where you’ll find antiques and Malaysian items in the market. You’ll visit the oldest Chinese temple in the country, the Temple of Green Cloud. Lunch will be at a local restaurant away from the crowds.
At the end of the tour, your guide will drop you off at your chosen destination in the city.
