This half-day tour will bring you and a small group into Vatnajökull National Park, which is known for its namesake glacier and dramatic landscapes that surround it. After being driven right to the glacier's edge, you'll don a harness, crampons and ice axe and head out for a thrilling hike on the ice.

Led by a professional guide, you'll make your way close to the Falljökull glacier ice fall. As you pass formations such as crevasses, moulins and water streams, your guide will explain how glaciers are formed as well as the history of the area.
