On this walking tour, you will get to know both the inside and the outside of Salamanca's most famous monuments. Accompanied by a local guide, you will follow a route through the historic centre that will introduce you to the city's Golden Age and its most illustrious characters.
The tour will start at the Casa de las Conchas, where you will learn about the origins of this old Gothic style urban palace and visit its central courtyard. You will then head to the Cathedral to admire its imposing façade and rich interiors, with the cloister and the chapels of El Salvador, Santa Barbara, Santa Catalina and Anaya, the choir and the golden chapel.
The last stop will be the buildings of the University of Salamaca. Here, your guide will lead you through a patio to see the painting known as El cielo de Salamanca, as well as different classrooms, the chapel and the library.
