On this tour, you’ll have the chance to discover the historical landmarks and scenery of Santo Domingo.
After pickup from your hotel, you’ll start your tour in the Ciudad Colonial neighbourhood, the city’s historical centre. You’ll continue with a visit to Columbus Lighthouse, built in honour of Christopher Columbus, before seeing the Alcázar de Colón, the first Spanish-built fortified palace constructed in the Americas. You’ll also stop at Catedral Primada de las Americas and the historical Calle El Conde.
After exploring the lake scenery of the Three Eyes National Park, you’ll pay a visit to the Monastery of San Francisco. You’ll then end your tour at the colonial Ozama Fortress, one of the oldest European-built forts in the Americas.
