On this private day trip from Lanzhou, you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Bingling Temple, which is a series of caves and Buddhist grottoes that date back to the 5th century CE.
Starting with a hotel pickup, you’ll be driven to the hydroelectric Liujiaxia Dam, where you’ll board a yacht and sail along the Yellow River to the Bingling Temple. While exploring this series of grottoes and caves inside a canyon, you’ll see well-preserved Buddhist statues, carvings and frescoes.
