We had a great experience, the apartment was really cozy, spacious, and everything looked like brand new, we had our own kettle and fridge but there's also a well equipped shared kitchen for cooking.
The area is beautiful and Mike is really helpful and knowledgeable about what to do, gave us plenty of advice about places to see and things to know
Thanks a lot!

Kobaird was a surprise for me. It is a neat little town, in a beautiful setting with a lot of outdoor activities, of which we didnt have time to do most. It also has some exceptional restaurants. Everyone knows about Hisa Franka but we dinned at Hotel Topli Val and the food and wine where exceptional, and I believe there are others just as good. We will definitely have to come for a longer stay

Kobarid was great.
Kobarid was great. A wonderful market with everything you could ever need and lots of lovely local specialities. A great place to do base yourself for hiking and also get to Bovec for white water rafting. Hisa Planica is in Dreznica above Kobarid. A lovely little village with great walks to beautiful waterfalls, wonderful views, the best hosts. The drive up to Dreznica is fairly winding, fine for my husband and sons, but at times I needed to close my eyes.

- The breathtaking Soca valley (and its smaller sister, the Nadiza valley)
- Rafting and uncountable hiking paths
- Helpful staff and plenty of information at the Tourist Office
- A small yet vivid center
- Central location to explore other places in the region (Bovec, Tolmin, etc.)

Naturally blessed area and a very clean town.
Naturally blessed area and a very clean town. There are a lot of water or mountain related activities that can be done around the town. There are places were food is more than great(Hisa Polonka or Kotlar) located in the center of the town.

Nice town, we liked especially cycling near Soca river.
Nice town, we liked especially cycling near Soca river. Beautiful views. We were eating in Soca Pizza Restaurant, really good pizzas, we also saw other restaurants, but Soca was always open so this was our place :).
We were on bikes, but we saw many people with hiking gear, and according to map there are a lot of hiking trails.

Loved everything about Kobarid.
Loved everything about Kobarid. It is quaint and while there are tourists coming and going, it doesn’t feel like a tourist town/trap (which is how Bovec seemed to me). The homes in town are lovely and well maintained. I got the sense that people took a lot of pride in living there. The town itself is beautiful. You can go out and see/do so many things if you use Kobarid as a “home base” and go out to nearby points of interest. I walked the Historic Trail, went kayaking, went rafting, and visited waterfalls. I only spent 2 nights in Kobarid and then 1 night in Bovec. I wish I had spent 3 in Kobarid and skipped Bovec the town altogether. I could not get dinner at any restaurant in Bovec- very few places serve food and the two places I went to said they were booked for the night, yet most tables were open. Meanwhile, in Kobarid, I walked into the loveliest restaurant at 8:30 pm and was treated to a table and exceptional service. The place was busy- always a good sign- and the person who served my partner and I treated us like we were regulars. He may have been the owner by how knowledgeable and attentive he was. Hisa Polonka is the restaurant and I highly recommend it. The following night I was tired and just got pizza from a local hostel. Different experience from Hisa Polonka, but the pizza was also good and for 8 euro it was a good deal. Kobarid also has beautiful views. You can’t go wrong staying in Kobarid for a few days.
What a great hostel and friendly owners, well equipped, amazing kitchen with everything a modern kitchen should have and beautiful, clean bathrooms, multiple toilet stalls.
Quiet rooms with bunk beds, which offer more privacy when closing the curtain and a good night sleep even if someone turns the light on. Each bed has a power outlet, light and a small locker to store valuables. There's even a terrace outside to hang out.
Would recommend and will definitely visit again when in Kobarid!
The apartman itself is very cozy and well equiped and the bathroom is beautiful. We had a really good time, went for swimming in the nearby river and which is just a dream (the water is cold, but the view is awesome). Ana was the perfect host during our stay. She sent us a list with all the concerts and activities in the neighboring villages, and some restaurant options as well (you must try Postaja Poljana). She even helped us when one of us had an accident.
Absolutely perfect stay just outside Kobarid.
The accommodation was spotless & had so many fabulous thoughtful touches to make our stay very comfortable indeed.
Very well equipped.
Plenty of really useful information on what to do & the Soca Valley area. Games & table tennis & lovely walks right from the house.
Fabulous view of the mountain.
Really can't recommend Hisa Uran enough - it was fabulous.
The little hut we stayed in is situated in the green mountains near Kobarid. It is suuuuuper calm, the nature is beautiful, there is a small waterfall nearby. We absolutely loved it! Lidija and Vinko are so friendly and kind, we got a fresh lemonade and drinks upon arrival and even some cake to enjoy. They are super friendly! I would always come back - everything was perfect!
The apartment is spacious and everything is still quite new. it has everything you need including a Dolce Gusto machine for coffee lovers. It is close to shops, restaurants, companies that organize adventurous activities and a nice self-service fresh ice cream shop. It is just a few steps from the Kobarid Historical Trail, should you want to explore that.
Our stay in Kobarid was amazing. The apartment is very clean and offers everything for an amazing stay.
It's located in a quiet enviroment surrounded by a lot of mountains and the river soca. Good for hikes and swim in Soca river.
The hosts were very friendly and have always been available if we needed something. We really highly recommend Bric.
Lovely little town, about 10-15 minutes windy road to nearby Kobarid.
We had the downstairs room, which didn't get much sun at all, and unfortunately our towels were damp for the 3 days we were there.
The room next to ours also shared the fridge and kettle which was between both rooms that we thought was a bit odd.
Extremely friendly and helpful host, the apartments were comfortable and well-equipped, modern and well-designed. Free parking, free jacuzzi, peaceful garden, beautiful views. Restaurants and groceries can be found near the apartments. Hiking, biking and other sports facilities near the town of Kobarid.
We were welcomed in a very friendly way and we had a great stay at Kobarid Rooms. Our room was well equiped (air condition, shampoo, hair dryer…) and it was also very clean. Nearby you can find great places to have breakfast or dinner. Kobarid is a very nice town and we enjoyed our short stay here.
Spacious and clean hotel room with big bathroom. Located in the town center, eating places all close by. The room was on the road side, although not a lot of noise came in, light sleepers maybe want to use earplugs. Curtains blocked light reasonably well. There was no fridge in the room.
The property was very nice and the apartment was great as well. The breakfast buffet was also perfect, even though it cost 8 euros per person. The location was right in the centre of Kobarid. We didn't use the pool, as it was chilly, but I think it is available for guests in the summer.
The surroundings are really beautiful! You're surrounded by a lot of hiking routes and breathtaking views, we never regretted that we stayed in Dreznica and not in Kobarid. The apartment was warm and spotlessly clean with great view from the terrace.
Wonderful space and a beautiful location. Very cute town not far from Kobarid.
Not much in the town apart from one bar and one restaurant serving a set menu from what I could see but that adds to the charm. Would absolutely stay again.
The room was very big and the beds comfortable. The location in the center of Kobarid is convenient to go around in the area; specially to visit Tolmin Gorge, which is a must. The gratis parking is great and really convenient.
Really nice hosts, a very beautiful garden with a great view und a good, well-equipped kitchen.
We've been mountainbiking, you can start most of the tours in the Kobarid-Area from here.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Clean, modern, all amenities - excellent AC - strong Wi-Fi - nice patios - friendly host who gave us some nice local suggestions for restaurants and activities
