Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid. A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey. There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines. A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.MarekPoland - 10Scored 10

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.

We had a good parking place for our car on the street in front of the apartment, and we could walk to the town center and Beach Head Museum, as well as the grocery store and restaurants. Mary was very nice and always willing to help with any questions that we had. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was fine. The shower was very good. The bed was comfortable for sleeping. We had some cold weather during our visit, and the heat worked well.

The room was big enough for 2 people. Owner of the mansion (his name is Angelo) was very helpful and friendly to us. He helped us to find the place and get there from the train station. The place is located near to beach about 2-3 minutes by foot. There are small market and pub near to house. The room looks like on the photo. Highly recommended to stay here 🙂👍NikolayCzech Republic

It is a short stroll to the nearest beach and there is a pleasant roof top pool. The room was very pleasant and comfortable and had a side view to the sea.
