IT HAD BEEN A WHILE SINCE I VISTED PORT DE POLLENSA, IT REMAINS A NICE PLACE TO VISIT, NICE WALKS, PLENTY OF ESTABLISHED PLACES TO EAT, GOOD TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS. THERE HAS BEEN LOTS OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE TOWN, BUT MAINLY TASTEFULLY DONE, THE BEACH AND BAY AREA REMAINS A POSITIVE. APRIL SEEMS TO MAKE THE AREA A HAVEN CYCLISTS.

So very convenient to the pool, to the gorgeous beach and numerous shops and restaurants. We are cyclists and found these apartments perfect for storing our bikes as well as embarking on numerous cycling routes. The staff are wonderful!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Quiet seaside area with attractive houses and small apartment blocks. Plenty of trees and flowers. Easily reached from the main road, but very quiet. Bus services seem good, but we used our hire car. An hour's drive from the airport, but bus journey probably involves a change.

This is a beautiful resort and we have stayed here many times. The place is quite chilled. It is suited to all ages really - lots of families as has a very safe feel to it. Lots of couples and groups of cyclists. There are so many nice places to eat. The beach is picturesque and is big so plenty of spaces to find somewhere to sit. It is a popular resort so I would recommend booking well in advance for peak season times and this includes restaurant reservations as they get busy!GillUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

A beautiful location, as long as you get the weather which you usually do. I've been quite a few times now and we have usually been lucky with the weather. If you're not doing the Mallorca 312 then I would suggest going on a different week than the two that the event is in the middle of. There are plenty of good bars and excellent restaurants, supermarkets are good if you are self catering.

It’s a low-key resort with beautiful and dramatic backdrop of mountains. The resort itself is mainly very flat, making it accessible to all ages. Two main beach areas: the narrow but very beautiful beaches on the Pine Walk, and the wide sandy Tamarells beach in the newer part of the resort. These are very clean and safe for kids. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops but not a place for night life - it’s most suited to couples and families with children. The resort has also become very popular with groups of cyclists in recent years.

Great selection of food for breakfast and we loved eating it right next to the beach. We also had paella for dinner one night which was also very good. Our room was at the back of the hotel but quite spacious with a good view of the mountains. We travelled by bike and were pleased to discover we could store our bikes overnight in the garage of the nearby Hotel Daina. We were staying in the apartment complex over the road which was perfect for our family of 2 adults & 2 children. Kitchenette was well equipped and the room had a nice balcony. Great pool for my kids who are learning to swim. Very short walk to the pine walk and sea for swimming. We had half board in our room rate. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The photos and description don’t do this justice! The rooms are beautiful and modern. A side sea view from the front terrace on a quiet leafy street round the corner from the sea, Illa dor hotel and the pine walk. This is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in. Although this villa doesn’t have a pool, the vicinity to the sea, beach and Laguna pool make for the perfect stay!

We had 4 teens with us and they were swimming every evening for hours while we sat with the beautiful view. The living areas and kitchen were great, everything we needed to cook in if needed. Plenty space outside to eat. The location on Pine walk is perfect for a walk in the evening down to the restaurants and other activities. Javier was a great host and answered any queries immediately.
