The city is excellent for city break a lot to see. I will not recommend to buy the Turbo Pass as there is not enough time to see all for what you paid. Paris is a blessing unto humanity. A beautiful city that has generated countless ideas, innovations and artistic visions throughout history. Metro is great, getting around is easy, though I love walking great distances on streets that I feel are safe and interesting. Boo on the French for continuing to smoke like fiends and foul the air in the cafes and streets. And what's with the dog poop on the sidewalks? Merde, alors....Pick it up and compost it! Bravo on Paris for transforming itself into a green city, soon with more bicycles than cars--and a garden for every corner. The homeless have proliferated--a worldwide challenge. But Paris seems to have it managed, with tent areas and public bathrooms. Far from perfect, but other cities can learn a lot here.

An incredible city, the metro makes it accessible, cafes are great, parks are lovely. If possible avoid crowded times of the year. A day trip to Disney, easy to get to, is recommended. Also,the flea market was really interesting as was Pere Lachaise.

Paris is a wonderful city to explore by foot though the metro and sharing bikes are also very convenient. It is well worth exploring some of the outer areas as well as the main central attractions e.g. the big modern parks such as Parc La Villette and Parc Andre Citreon. You can see a huge range of good architecture in that way, modern as well as 19th century. of the classic sights, my personal favourite is the Pantheon, and there are great art galleries. You can also spend the whole time in pavement cafes people watching!

Paris is Paris and there is so much to see within easy walking distance or using the Metro. The Metro system is amazing and so easy to use. We were fortunate with good weather during the days of our visit. Our biggest dislike was how many smokers there were and how much the smoke intruded into dining areas.JimAustralia - 8.0Scored 8.0

Paris is a spectacularly beautiful city, rich in culture and heritage. Fabulous restaurants and overwhelmingly friendly, helpful service. Have visited on numerous occasions and is sooo convenient to get to via London. Two negative points. Be aware of pickpockets and accessibility on the metro is difficult.

There were much cheaper options outside the city centre but we thought the convenience of being in such a central and lively part of town was worth it. The room was small as is in every typical hotel room in Paris. But it was clean, had comfy beds, a nice window and view and airconditioning, which we needed the most when we went in the summer. They also have free luggage storage and breakfast for an additional fee (restaurant was at the ground floor).

He wants me to book it for next weekend. They also let him check a bag so he could pick it up on his way back out of town. They had a buffet breakfast that was convenient for him.
